  • i do see why people would complain about using such expensive markers on stamps. but how would you feel if people complained about you heating up frozen food instead of cooking from scratch? or copying a well known character instead of creating your own? its the same thing. people really need to lighten up now days. art is pure. dont taint it like people have tainted the rest of the joys in the world with their judgmental ways. oh btw i can draw, never used stamps, never will. am i judging?

  • I have to to say something regarding those who are complaining about thos who use stamps with Copic markers. I'm an avid stamper/scrapbooker, and Copics give my stamped images an amazing look. I do not draw., cannot draw, nor will I ever be able to(which is why a lot of people stamp)but I am a very creative person, and I want to have amazing images on my cards; stamps allow me to do that. There is no right or wrong answer to art. Art is subjective; in the eye of the beholder.

  • which set of copic sketch markers are the best (the 72 one) set a or set b or set c

  • @D0rki3s The A set comes with a lot of greys and black, set B comes with a mix of more greys and some brighter colors, and set C has a lot of bright colors (pinks, red, blues, greens, and the basic skin tones)

Which set you buy depends on what you'd use them for. I have set C since my main focus is anime, but something in set B are still need for me to fully complete my work. Even if you get all 3, you never have any repeating colors, so I think that's really great too.

  • Lovely tutorial. Very kind of you to put it out there. Thanks so much. I hope you don't listen to the negative nellies. :)

  • Did you say Georgia Pacific paper? I couldn't quite understand you... sorry ^^; - Kit

  • youre saying copic wrong and you say "UM" wayyyyyy too much.. super annoying so I had to turn you off right away.....

  • its cOpic the O says its name sorry force of habit but u do say it wrong

  • This is going to help me a lot, because i just ordered Copic Markers and once i get them i'll probably need a tutorial and this seems really helpful! :D

  • I actually found this really helpful...I have 44 Copics (a gift) and no idea how they're numbered or the proper way to color with them. Thank you :)

  • This was very good! Especially, for me. I know nothing about Copic Markers. I just purchased a basic set in December.

  • y i heard stamp it or something ink stains your nibs

  • This is the second vid im seeing using stamps? what happened to good old hand drawing?

  • @skimmedtheband

Well. I guess it's always been more fun to colour than to draw .D

I don't understand it either, though.

  • Use copic ciao. There cheaper! only $3.00

  • Omg.. Why is that stuff so expensive?? D: WHY?! I just wanna draw with good markers,,

  • @JustMeowMeow Because Copic Markers are so friggin good! :D

  • I'm a little tired of people using such expensive markers to color in stamped images . Maybe either learn to draw or buy regular felt tipped pens because it's a waste really ! However thanks for tip on numbers . Oh and they sell much cheaper on eBay btw!

  • Actually, they aren't much more than the "stamp" markers, and are much better quality. Markers are for coloring....

For the same reason you choose copics for your original art, we prefer to use them for craft art.

  • most tutorials use stamps because its quicker then drawing something and these markers work great for graffiti sketch's so get over your self these you can refill and replace the nibs so i never have to buy markers in my life again

  • @limegreengypsy copic markers make a big difference, because they create shades when you blend them and go over them. regular felt tipped pens are very coarse and start to damage the paper when you start going over them

  • @limegreengypsy COPICS are generally for people devoting their lifes to art so their going to buy the best products they can get there hands on!

  • @limegreengypsy COPICS are generally for people devoting their lifes to art so their going to buy the best products they can get there hands on! i dont agree with stamping all the time though because its so cliche

  • @limegreengypsy If someone wants to use copics to color in a stamp, it's their right.

  • @AnnaTykes get ur point but it can be a lil annoying for some people ^^

  • do i have to outline the drawing in fineliners first or can i leave it in pencil?

  • you need to outline it in a pen approved with copics

  • i'd outline it with a copic fine marker first. cause copics bleed into the paper so the pencil mark will bleed along with the marker, plus the pencil marks will smuge and bleed ruining the picture. hope that helps.

  • cool =D

    just curious ...

but i bought copic ciao markers

and the tips turned white, do you know what's wrong w/them?

  • @ssusho

How long ago did you buy those markers? Maybe they are out of ink?

  • its all new!!

less then a month old, and i have one that's actually out of ink .. but it doesn't turn white...

  • Huh...That's weird. I'm sorry, I don't know what is wrong with them. =[

Maybe you should contact one of the copics staff on their website.

  • okay thanks =D
