  • It's not slaughter, not even close. If you want to see slaughter maybe you should watch a video on the cattle trade in Indonesia. Duck hunting and hunting in general is a tradition is Australia and throughout the world. . Duck hunters naturally harvest their own meat. If you want to fight for animals rights, maybe take a look at a video called a bloody buisness on the ABC website and refresh your idiotic minds on what the word cruel actually means.

  • @TheAussieHunter "Traditions" (lol) Fox hunting, Seal hunting, The Big game hunting, The American Bison (to near extinction) hunting etc etc Want to go back to Bear baiting traditions? Ofcourse there's cruelty in alot of farm practices nutcase thats why people try to change the practices of (some) commercial industries as well as protecting creatures in their NATURAL habitat. Traditions die out when the need just becomes sport, just like the Wild West and the mentality that died with it....

  • So what about duck hunting on the rice fields ? what argument do you have there ?

  • @TheAussieHunter That is a different issue (and you know it) So this is another "validation" argument? All you can come up with? LOL. Whats you're argument about my previous post then? I cant wait........

  • And everywhere on Mississippi flyway. what's up with Australian duck rescuers and the ducks in general?

  • Duck rescuers would be freaking out if they came down to Arkansas. This home of duck hunters.

  • Theres nothing wrong with hunting.

  • Can always tell when I'm close to a hunter, their negative energy is only surpassed by the stink that follows them wherever they go. (also includes their sewer mouths)

  • Love the hunting lobby's care for the envioronment (erecting nesting box's, cleaning swamps. eradicating predators etc) Would they do this if there were no ducks GMAB. Years ago during the drought, outbreaks of Botulism decimated ducks and other species in alot of Victorian lakes. I was there among others for months doing dirty dangerous work trying to save infected birds and retrieving carcasses to prevent further infection from the maggots. Never saw ONE so called conservational hunter help!

  • You obviously dont know what human past time has been. Humans have hunted forever and we dont just kill for fun and sport. We kill to put all natural organic food on the table. Unlike the shit you can buy at the store.

  • @iloveredemptions26 So according to your theory you only eat duck etc "unlike the shit you can buy in the store" (lol) So McDonalds, pizza, Dairyqueen, Wendies, Burger Palace and French fries etc etc are off your menu?? GMAB. You can't buy organic meat or products in the good ol' USA. There's no need to kill creatures in their natural environment or habitat anymore, but some still think the wild west mentality is an easy excuse.

  • @jagerfaust2009 Wait wait wait. Did i say i only eat duck? Did i say i dont eat food from the store? No. You can to buy organic meats in the U.S. You have obviously never been hunting or done anything independently without depending on other people to provide your food. If we didnt hunt the ducks. They would over populate, along with all the other animals in the world.

  • Another tip, duck hunters are continously involved in environmental rehabilitation programs which errect nest boxes, clean swamps, eradicate pests such as foxes and cats during the duck breeding season. All this work is done voluntarily and ensures that more duckling survive every year. To me this is the greatest committment someone can have to a species. Whats the big deal to take a sustainable amount from the population for consumption instead of buying it from the supermarket shelf?

  • Hi, yes just so you know all duck hunters love seeing sights such as these. It means that the birds are breeding and a season can be held. There are duck counts which occur every November, if bird numbers are low bag limits are reduced or seasons are closed which is what occurred in SA and VIC between 07/09. Secondly the 5% that you claim is absolute propaganda! If you look up figures from Proff Richard Kingsfords recent report, the counts have recorded the highest breeding ever recorded!

  • This was a beautiful video. Thank you for sharing this sight of a mum wood duck and her chicks.

  • Duck hunting is the lowest form of hunting. Only cowards partake in it.

  • you realize, of course, that most places like this have a certain amount you can take per day because the ducks overpopulate and destroy the environment, right? otherwise, you'd have too many ducks, too little food, and there would be lots of pollution from their feces. true story.

  • Hardly plagerise when the author (John Masefield) is mentioned. Seeing you seem to be attached to it so much I'll keep posting it when the situation suits. Meanwhile feel free to continue your meaningless rants!

  • @evlrx2 Not getting any attention lately? I see you leave your brain dead comments all over the place. You brain is as obviously as blank as your homepage, which I repeat "A strange homepage you have for such an enthusiastic, bragging big mouth hunter like you". Anyway the comments you do leave most would have the thought as I.. CARE FACTER ZERO...

  • @evlrx2 You really are desperate then. Sure you don't suffer from ADS?

  • Don't worry this slaughter killing will eventually come to and end (the shotgun can't controll everything) The sooner the better.....

Then can come the cry baby bonding and counselling when their Rambo equipment goes into the closet :-)

  • THE WILD DUCK John Masefield Twilight. Red in the West. Dimness. A glow on the wood. The teams plod home to rest. The wild duck come to glean. O souls not understood, What a wild cry in the pool; What things have the farm ducks seen That they cry so--huddle and cry?
  • Only the soul that goes.

    Eager. Eager. Flying.

Over the globe of the moon,

    Over the wood that glows.

    Wings linked. Necks a-strain,

A rush and a wild crying.

A cry of the long pain

In the reeds of a steel lagoon,

In a land that NO MAN KNOWS.

  • This year the bag limit for Victoria is. 10 and I seen tones of woodys in blanchtown sa
