@LMB222 Bummer. I am looking for a highspeed camera for a simple research analysis (physics) for which I guess $500< cameras would suffice. I'd love to be able to play around with ~1000 or even ~500 fps cameras at 720p. Unfortunately it will be another decade or two before the technology allows them to fit into my budget of some measly 3000 dollars. :( If you own one of these, I envy you big time!
@SubTachyon Can't help you with that, I found this existing setup done by my predecessor. Let me know if you progress with your ideas. Perhaps construct your own ADC, because it may be the bottleneck. Our cameras are connected to the controllers by an *analogue* cable, so there's a reason to this.
What camera did you use? And holy shit it must have cost you at least $50,000 no? :)
