  • As people become educated now and days, they leave their ignorant religious ways and for once start to use their minds.

  • It's bullshit like this that makes college better than high school jesus let the girl bring her girlfriend to prom, already they did the same thing with blacks/whites now the prejudice has moved on to another minority and it pisses me off!!!

  • I don´t care what people say. To me its not a matter of religion. Lesbians are hot and sexy. Gays are gross (sorry but its true) and weird. But lesbians are hot and sexy and I think its so cute for two girls to get it on. and kiss it turns me on. I don´t understand why someone wouldn´t like a girl. But I also don´t understand these girls like Constance´s lawyer who completly became a man. yu don´t have to look like a man to like a girl!! ^^

  • i've seen lesbian couples at prom, and i'm lucky to go to a school where they accept that. i'm straight but a strong supporter of gays rights. hopefully everyday all schools are tolerant.

  • 1:27

did she say "That can't be easy man"?

  • Constance didn't ruin the prom. Homophobic school officials ruined the prom and showed how much of dumbass people can be.

  • Even IF homosexuality is a choice, it is irrelevant to this issue. What matters is the state, using taxpayer money, is discriminating against a student based on sexual orientation. Since this girl is not breaking the law, the school has no grounds to ban her from any school sanctioned event. Just because people on the school board don't agree personally with the gay lifestyle doesn't mean they have a right to keep them from coming to a school sanctioned event.

  • @FretArchitect This school will be fined and resignations are expected. The Superintendant, Principal and all involved are now under the microscope and punitive damages will be administered. H8 must end yesterday!

  • @charbyteU They should resign, this is really terrible. The fact this even happened scares me.

  • REDNECK

  • No guys want her anyway shes fatty =]

  • @Indianmalujl Nobody likes a fat dyke.

    Nobody.

  • @Sonolumino8939 guess no one likes your mother then.

  • @agoodgirlNOT Thanks, my mom's dead.

  • @Sonolumino8939 i apologize, that was in bad taste. but you still shouldnt say homophobic things.

  • do you have a problem with people expressing their opinion?

  • She should bring the ACLU rep.....good looking couple.

  • @pobody69 your spammed comment isnt worth spamming but it does show how petty minded you are regarding constance, the issue was her rights violation but your are still 'hounding' her as such because of the consequences of this case. only an idiot would read your post and feel you made a worthwhile comment.

  • I disagree!

  • im gay and i expect tolerance...so i should be tolerant to straight people right?.....let Constance McMillen live...people shouldnt decide your happiness

  • The fact that the school made such a huge deal out of this is bullshit. What would they lose from letting these girls just go to the prom together? If anything, the school has dug themselves a huge hole that will be difficult to come out of. Not only has the principle given this town and school a bad reputation, the students who approach this girl and blame her for ruining their prom need to realize that she didn't do anything wrong, at all.

  • @sarahm81 Why did this girl notify the school that she would be attending the prom in a tux with another girl? Why didn't she just show up with her date?? Was she looking for notoriety ?? The school board was wrong in cancelling the prom. And yes she was partly responsible for the cancellation.

  • @luberific what has that got to do with anything? her rights were to be violated. so constance asked! so what? what difference does that make? bring up a valid point next time. its plain by the actions of the school that its a good thing she did ask, it quickly brought to light the idiocy of the school board.

  • @everyspecies Since when is it a right to have a school district provide a dance party for it's students?

  • @luberific of course it isnt a right that a school district to provide a dance, that was never the issue, stop inventing issues to deflect attention from the illegal action here: constances rights were violated when she was told she couldnt bring a girl and wear a tuxedo.

  • @everyspecies The issue is that the school didn't tell her she couldn't attend they simply cancelled the prom. Besides, as far as dress code goes, it has always been defined by the school districts. If she wanted to attend why didn't she just show up in her tux and girlfriend. Constance knew what the schools reaction would be and she just wanted the notoriety. Besides , I have heard that she is not even gay. LOL

  • @sarahm81 the school board should be stood in the corner with their backs to the class, what a bunch of childish, bigoted clowns they are. They are a ridiculous disgrace for setting such a bad example of how people should treat each other.

  • i live in Fulton Constance. and im proud of you good luck

  • It's scary to watch this and know my own prom comes up. I'm not nearly as brave as her ._.

  • @Littlestmuffin Why is it scary? If you are gay or straight just go to the prom. You don't need to telll anyone who you are bringing cause it's none of their business!

  • @Littlestmuffin lesbo

  • @motherdadder Uh... I think that's established but whatever

  • true

  • I would rather her be a dike and fuck other women than become a nigger loving coal burner.

I mean what are the criminal statistics on gay/lesbians? Do they take up the vast majority of the prison systems, like niggers do? Are they pumping out illigitamate children just to get more welfare or tanf checks in the mail, like niggers do? How many gay/les couples have you heard stories about where they are trying to adopt a child that they want to love and care for that some other ass wouldnt?

  • she didnt cancel prom mississippi school district did! These high school kids are denied prom, now they understand what it is like to be gay, imagine telling the rest of mississippi they cant go to prom and they cant get married or adopt .hopefully this case brings awarness to itawaba students..if you dont have tolerance then you might not go to prom.. dont let city goverment tell you that you cant do something cause you are different..

  • i cant imagine being in high school and starting a revolution..it dosent matter if she has had boyfriends in the past..its funny seeing gay people on youtube talking shit, when gay people demand tolerance when they cant even be tolerant...

  • @idfa4 Judging by your comment i would pose a question to you......do you hate niggers? I do.

Im sure from the post^ that you were all for segregation and jim crow laws, right? Back in the days when things were all white niggers had to follow the rules. Of course we all know what savage creatures niggers are and g/l people well i for one have never seen a savage violent primitive homo. Hell i thought it was them that were always getting picked on.

  • @Jimthere3 That is probably the greatest comment I've ever read. I've gone on many videos and spread my hatred of niggers so that others may be enlightened of their ape-like, shit-throwing, small-brained ways, and it's nice to see someone support me on that. Niggers are honestly exactly what's wrong with America, and I'm all for starting the "cleansing" anytime soon. Faggot niggers are the worst, but I think we need to thin out the herd to preserve the genome. Niggers ruin everything...

  • Choose? Seriously, there's still people in this day and age that thinks homosexuality is a choice? Read shelbyvo's comment, mate. I hate to repeat what someone else has said.

You call us ridiculous. However, do you realise how you sound right now? Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. If you think we're going to hell, then fine, whatever. Just leave us alone. Stay away from videos like this.

  • I'm sure 99% of the people here already know that sexual preference is NOT a choice... but for the few that believe it is a choice, or worse - a sin, consider this: who would willingly choose to pursue a lifestyle that faces the challenges homosexuality is still up against? It makes absolutely no sense. I am impressed with Constance's maturity and composure throughout this ordeal, and her bravery facing the authority figures that institutionalized such discrimination.

  • I'm sorry to say that your argument will probably fall on deaf ears. People will always be scared of what they don't understand. They don't understand us, therefore they make lies to justify their actions against us. Sometimes it feels like we still have mountains to climb before we reach equality.

    Such is life, eh?

  • @shelbyvo : Please use the correct terminology: sexual preference would be used for people who have a choice. For us gays, the correct term is sexual orientation (we are sexually oriented to the same sex). Thank you.

  • @shelbyvo-Your right. Homosexuality isn't just something you decide to be overnight nor is it something your born being. Babies are neutral. Homosexuality is something you discover in your heart and there's nothing wrong with that.

  • @MasterAdam100 YES THERE IS.

  • @motherdadder-Please explain why their is something wrong with homosexuality then. I'm willing to hear your arguements. Shoot.

  • @MasterAdam100 the prom was made for girls and boys. they only did this for publicity and money. works like a charm

  • @motherdadder-Exactly. Girls and boys. Never said that it was "STRAIGHTS ONLY!"

This deserves to get out in the public. Even recently, Constance and a group of students were lied to and a secret prom was organized by the parents in spite of the official prom being held at the country club. This blatent homophobia is in the same vain as racism and sexism. It's disgusting that certain members of the human rave are this heartless.

  • @MasterAdam100 Do these bigots realize that they perpetuate the stereotype that ALL Southerners are just ignernt unedutated baffoons? What an embarassment to the American South! What an embarassment to the world that Mississippi is still burning the torch of H8! Sign the petition and send a signal that this must end yesterday.

  • @charbyteU-I have a history of dealing with bigots. I live in southeastern Louisiana near the MIssissippi border and just last year, there was a Klan killing in my town. I really thought that even the South evolved just a little bit. At least past the point of violence. We have Neo-Nazi's and Black Panthers marching every year around MLK day. It's sickening. Racism, sexism and homophobia is a disease. The only race I see is the human race and in the end, that's the only thing that will matter.

  • @motherdadder Proms are for students ALL students lady so go bleach your white sheet! KKK?

  • @charbyteU Negro cut lesbo bitch

  • @shelbyvo sexual preference is a choice and choosing to be with a member of the same sex is morally wrong. people are not born gay they are either raised that way by their family or just choose to do it. I cant believe the world is looking on stuff like this and saying its ok to be gay because its not, its wrong. If we were meant to be gay God would have made it adam and steve not adam and eve.

  • @gunnerg42 Your a fucking moron, and can you give us some evidence for your claims, that does NOT come from your little book of fairy tale bullshit

  • @gunnerg42 if your not gay yourself you don't have any right to say it isent, if your gay and say it is then ya you can say that. your taking a guess and you don't know anything about being gay and how its not a choice, ya we can lie about it and live a lie but who really wants to do that? its one thing to be yourself but its another to try and force ppl to believe what you do, this is the present and not the past we wont fall for your religion terrorist acts.

  • I'm from the same town she is and i'm openly gay, and not once have i ever seen constance with girl up until 6 months ago, she is known in my hometown for sleeping with guys. I'm not trying to bad mouth her but it upsets me that some wannabe lesbian is talking about gay rights,i've had it 10X worse then she has in that town but i never complained instead i just moved to memphis.I appreciate what she's doing for the gay community but she should be honest and not lie!

  • @princeace2007 people grow into themselves at different rates...

  • The comment below was in reply to "1inkdaddy".

  • Well done Constance. I believe what you are doing. It's not your choice that the prom isn't going ahead.

  • Constance may be the Rosa Parks of our time.

It's encouraging that the school board feels a need to hide behind bull about money and "distractions". They won't come right out and say it's anti-gay bigotry, even though that's obvious. When a prejudice is too shameful for even the people who hold it to express openly, you know it's on the way out, even if it will yet take some time.

  • @Infidel753 'distractions' tells us a lot about the school board: they are cowardly, dishonest and more interested in pushing their own personal beliefs ahead of a students constitutional rights. Precisely the qualities that school board members SHOULDNT have.

  • @Naezwood If you're for real, then you are to be applauded. I'm glad she has some friends in her town, and of course I'm certain that a lot of local younger people understand that it was the spitefulness of her school board, and not Constance herself, that is responsible for the canceling of the prom.

  • What a remarkably brave girl. Good luck to her and the ACLU. This is the 21st century, for crying out loud.

Sad to say, from the comments made by some locals in her town (and indeed on this YouTube page), it seems that most of those who oppose her are the predictable rabble of bible-thumping, intolerant, reactionary morons who constantly make this country the laughing stock of an appalled world.

    Shame on them.

  • It's so sad that a lot of people are still having problems accepting the existence of LGBT people..and worse still is that they use the BIBLE or whatever holy scriptures to justify their acts..they say that being gay/lesbian is a SIN yet they do not realize that what they are doing is the SIN..gays/lesbians are not asking that they be treated with GREATER importance, they simply ask that they be treated EQUALLY as STRAIGHT people are.

  • @ysagada22 Very well said.

  • FUCK the ACLU COMMIES

  • Communist regimes have historically been intolerant of gays too, just like religion has. It's pluralistic societies like the US that are tolerant.

The ACLU defends the Constitution, and unlike the teabaggers who are always ranting about it, they actually understand what's in it.

  • @Infidel753 FYI there are a lot of gays in the Tea Party movement. Your use of the derogatory term "teabagger" show's that you're a clueless immature lout. Now run along little man!!

  • @phatmatt1176 "You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor" - Exodus 20:16 (NIV)

I'm a reverend and sir I must say that your public assertion that gays, lesbians and those who actually believe in the actual language of the constitution and not just the feeling of mentioning it hate god might be a one way trip to hell for you, repent and pray sinner.

  • @PlayerXT I lol'd have fun wasting your time in church.

  • @PlayerXT ; I will tell you what I told my ignorant grandfather in Tupelo: I will meet ya there.

  • @mykelb considering that I'm the the only agnostic I know who's also a reverend we'll see where we go when our time comes,

And I was talking to someone who was slandering everyone who's not straight as lying while pretending to "speak for god".

Also I think that if the school can either closing the prom all everyone or no one, but since it's obvious that they are targeting her, the school should either give her equal compensation to her distress, both emotionally and reputation damage.

  • @PlayerXT The Bible also says not to judge others.

and they also can't go to hell because there is no such place.

  • @LeoFan2012 I said I was a reverend, who said I believe any of that stuff in the bible?

I'm just doing the "judge not least ye be judged" thing against him.

  • Go American Communist Lawyers Union!

  • @USNavyman09 They've supported lots of hate groups, bigot... including Nazis and fundamentalist Christians!

  • @MarleneBomer ; And the Fucking Fred Phelps Klan.

  • Go get em ACLU

  • Mississippi... What a backwards country. Yes, I said COUNTRY, because they seem to act like they are not part of of the UNITED STATES! School leaders canceling a Prom because THEY don't like gays...amazing. Whats next for these 'school leaders/MORONS.' Maybe they will Cancel school next year because Gay students might mingle with Straight students.

  • @SharkDude1 Sadly, I think there are a number of other states where this could happen in the United States.

  • congratulations constance, go the distance.

  • honestly if you have a problem with it then why are you even watching this? They are discriminating against gays. It is unfair and she deserves to make a stand for the gays, and also trying to stop all discrimination. Gays have as much right as straight people, blacks, jews... everyone is different. Get over it. Just because someone is not like you, doesnt mean you are normal and they are the strange ones. Maybe its the other way around. Just leave it be. Good luck Constance <33

  • Since when has a high school prom become a constitutional right? Yeah, the school should have let her attend the prom. But it is their right to cancel it. The school owes you nothing but a good education.

  • @luberific; It's a constitution right to be treated equally under the law (see the 14th Amendment to the Constitution).

  • @mykelb Where in the constitution does it specify that a school must provide a dance party for it's students?? Nowhere!!! Evidently you didn't read my entire post. If they held the prom and she wasn't allowed to attend then that's a different story.

  • 40 Years ago, or maybe even less, they were telling interacial couples they couldnt attend proms (or doing worse to them for even being a couple) and those times have changed (for the most part. still ignorance out there). There are always turning points in history when just the day before something was considered "wrong" by "society" but the next day it is considered the norm. All change starts with just one step, one action. One day the dinosaurs will be gone and a new age will come. Patience.

  • @phatmatt1176 Nice,..

  • At least she won't get knocked up at the prom like the straight girls will.

  • First they came for the gays. I wasn't gay so I didn't complain... Now their coming for hateful white Christians....

  • Good luck Constance, hang in there! Many of us in the "Bible belt" are pulling for you!

  • @phatmatt1176 It's YOUR hell. You burn in it.

Oh, and Jesus thinks your a dick.

  • @phatmatt1176 More than likely we'll find out in 10 years or so you woke up and realized your Bible is bullshit and you gave up your Christofascist lifestyle. Millions around the world do it every day. Come to the light...

  • Oh i don't believe i'll be around in 10 years neither will this country!

  • Comment removed

  • Here come the angry closet cases...we've heard it all before, from Ted Haggard, Larry Craig, etc. Those that scream the loudest have the most to hide.

  • I fought with my school board for three years over them not allowing a gay straight alliance to be formed

In the end, the school board lost, there's no way they'll win this.

  • you put Fulton on the map... haha keep on keepin on..

  • so i guess you could be with someone of the same sex just INSTANTLY because you were "avoided" by the opposite sex?

  • Well, that was a mature and enlightened response you've just given, now I suggest you go back to your colouring-in book if it's not past your bedtime.

  • @noah9849 - Well, the school is as equally dumb by canceling the prom and giving it to her.

  • If you are referring to Constance, then it sounds to me like 'all she wants' is an end to discrimination.

It is ridiculous that in the 21st century, this type of prejudice still exists.

  • It doesn't matter if she just wants attention. You're missing the point if you think the whole situation is dumb then you're the idiotic one. This is a whole lot larger than your little high school

  • @haboreh, your comment is incendiary and homophobic, plain and simple.

  • @phatmatt1176, you appear to be filled with ignorance and lies. There is no correlation between homosexuality and pedophilia, and to say otherwise is outlandish and hysterical. Promiscuity and unsafe sexual activity spreads disease, not homosexuality. Being gay is the same as being straight, with the equal capacity to start families and contribute to communities (look up "depfox" on YouTube). Your comments are wildly homophobic and the product of twisted fear and maybe hatred.

  • Which christmas cracker did you pull this joke from?

To say that 'most' homosexuals have an illogical fear of the opinions of others is not even worth responding to....however, it is pretty obvious that people who fail to recognise that any form of discrimination against homosexuals is wrong- are indeed homophobic, but they may have other opinions which a gay person would agree with, so what exactly are you suggesting here?

Gays have the same 'lifestyle' as straights- it's called 'variable'.

  • The ACLU was founded on January 19, 1920. It grew out of a previous group, The National Civil Liberties Bureau which had grown out of the American Union Against Militarism, and a party that was held in New York City and attended by just about every radical from New York, such as Socialist Party notable Norman Thomas, future Communist Party chairman Elizabeth Gurley Flynn, and Soviet agent Agnes Smedley.

  • Someday you will realize that to not support an equality movement for gay people is to be homophobic. You are what you are, no matter how else you want to describe it.

  • @22149SF LOL i dont support gay movements but im not homophobic. i find it hard to believe you actually even said that. just because i dont support what they do doesnt mean i hate/fear them. shut the fuck up you moron

  • The solution is so simple. Let her go to the prom with her girlfriend. This whole ACLU and lawsuit would have never happened if the school just allowed for them to attend the prom.

Thank you Constance for standing up for yourself and not letting others, even those in power, walk all over you.

  • How is being on national news for something so personal a great success. If anything this is probably a very humiliating experience. To have her story be told to the world...and such a touchy subject here in the states.

    Your delirious.

  • @jessiesanchez ; The school made it public. Blame them.

  • @mykelb - That's exactly who I'm pinning the blame on, the school. Not the girl.

  • Great job, Constance! Anytime we don't fight for our rights, the haters win. Be proud of who you are!

  • Mashallah Constance hanoum! You go young lady; stop those haters. You are more loved than you know --- across this country and in the world. Live and let live! Brava! Enjoy the prom.

  • First Amendment, guys; even highschoolers have a right to equal treatment to seperation of church and state- you know, the seperation that says any reasoning where you have to refer to god, the church, or the bible isn't reasoning that can be used in an argument regarding civil liberties?

Also, anyone who's year can be ruined because of the lack of a single night has had a pathetic year already. Sorry.

    And she didn't cancel the prom;

the school did, when they realized they couldn't win.

  • The people who cancelled the prom ruined the prom. Constance did not ruin the prom because Constance did not cancel the prom. That's like blaming your wife for breaking your cane when you beat her over the head with it.

  • But the school deprived Constance of HER prom, how is it selfish to assert your rights? The jackass' on the school board "ruined" senior year, not Constance.

  • Does it make any sense to you to tell people they can't go with whomever they please regardless of orientation? What does it matter as long as they pay for the ticket? If she wasn't out and didn't want to go in a tux I bet the school wouldn't have said boo. It is pure and blatant homophobia that should have no place in school policy.

  • It's school policy. It's not about sexual orientation; the rules were in place long before she decided she wanted to bring some girl to prom. She knew that. I can guarantee you if she takes this to court she loses. It's like freshmen can't have cars on college campuses but upperclassmen can. They deal with it because that is school policy. She can't change school rules. It doesn't matter what you think is fair or not.

  • @complex973 - That rule was NOT in place. Why do you think they canceled the prom? Because such a rule isn't cemented in documentation. If it were they would have their prom and she simply couldn't bring a same sex date. But that's not the case. Her case has plenty of merit and it is discrimination. This goes to court she definitely wins big time. This rule was made up as they learned of her intentions.

  • you know...at the end of the day I could care less if she's gay. It's prom it's not the end of the world.

  • @complex973, if people didn't care about anyone's sexual orientation with respect to high school prom, then none of this would be happening. Discrimination of any kind is wrong and unacceptable.

  • While not the end of the world, it is of some great importance to these kids. You know the old saying "one's trash is another's treasure".

  • @complex973, any school policy that is unconstitutional will cease when argued. It is about sexual orientation, or at least this seems obvious to me. Having cars and sexual orientation are two fundamentally different concepts, because being gay is not a choice. Our country was founded on the virtue of fairness, as reflected in our constitutions, so it does matter if something is fair or not.

  • don't you dare hit me with the proverbial "i was born this way" it's a choice. Being born isn't a choice, your natural hair color isn't a choice. Being gay is very much a choice. Our country was founded on what?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This country was built on the backs of slaves not to mention the unspoken genocide of the indigenous people of this land.

  • So when did you choose to be straight?

  • @trancewe I'm not even going to be lured into that question. I see what you're trying to do. I am not homophobic. A word that gets thrown around freely at the first sight of someone who doesn't support the gay movement. I could care less who's gay that doesn't mean I have to support your movement.

  • If you didn't want to be lured in you should have ignored my comment. You sound pretty homophobic to me. "Being gay is very much a choice" and you know this how? Did you "choose" to be gay at one point? Did you "choose" to be straight? I remember having thoughts that I now can ID as gay from as young as 6 or 7. How they hell did I even know what gay was then? And no, there is no abuse in my past so don't even go there.

  • It's not a 'movement', being gay is quite simply one's sexuality, gay people are no different from straight people apart from the fact that they are attracted emotionally and physically to those of the same sex.

You have a real problem with accepting that your prejudices are very wrong and as a black person you should be more empathetic and understanding of this irrational intolerance and dislike of an individual because of their sexuality, because it is completely comparable to racism.

  • @sleepypoodle No they are not comparable, not even close. By the way you don't know me I am not prejudice. I've said a million times I don't really care who's gay. The moral of the story is the school policy doesn't allow for any same sex dates. It doesn't matter now because no one in their graduating class gay or straight has a prom to go to. Everyone loses. (In their case)

  • @complex973 ; If school policy is discriminatory, it needs to be changed. Schools are an extension of the government. WE THE PEOPLE, are the government. ALL OF US.

  • @complex973 school policy?? that counts for ZERO when the policy is unconstitutional, if you cant see that now you simply never will. funny how some will ignore the constitution when its fits their bigoted position.

  • @complex973, your comment is exceedingly vitriolic and unnecessarily incendiary. Homosexuality is deeply rooted in biology and found in virtually every species on this planet. The choice is to be gay if gay and straight if straight or gay if straight and vice versa. I couldn't imagine anyone wanting to choose to act different then who he/she really is - it isn't fair to the spouse who deserve a loving partner, and it isn't fair to the children who deserve happy and balanced parents.

  • @complex973, furthermore, our country was founded on the virtues of freedom, justice, equality and fairness, and over the many decades and centuries, our country has evolved in its understanding of humanity, and our government institutions have kept pace with the changing times. That is why people of race and gender are free and equal. Sexual orientation will be another evolutionary step of this great country. Again, your comment was incendiary and unnecessarily fear mongering.

  • @seanchapin1 I don't know what propaganda you've been fed but that is not true. This country was founded by freemasons first off. How can you sit there and say this country was founded on equality & fairness? genocide & slavery is what this country was built on. We're equal in the fact we're all human but to act as if there's no discrimination in these modern times against minorities or women is ridiculous.

  • @complex973, our country's government and law of the land was founded on equality and fairness, and we have evolved over the years to better emanate equality and fairness in our law. I don't see where you get that I am acting as if there's no discrimination against minorities or women, because I understand that social discrimination does and will always happen, as humanity is by design imperfect. You may want to ask first before assuming what I would say.

  • @seanchapin1 you can take that recycled history book knowledge down the street. You should look beyond the lies you were taught in grade school. I should ask before assuming? says the guy who tosses around the term homophobic. I didn't assume anything you said we are all "equal" with no specifications as into how.

  • @complex973 - You are an absolute idiot if you think being gay is a choice. Why on earth would someone choose to be alienated by family, religion and society? If you aren't gay, then the truth is you have no idea - and you only show your ignorance - and yes, prejudice, by making the assertion that you can't possibly back up. You can be book-smart and still a prejudiced jerk.

  • @pt90048 Whatever. I'm done. This is going nowhere, It's ludicrous to promote the idea that it isn't a choice. Don't tell me anything about some bs science to back up your claims. It means nothing. Science can't explain everything. Not to mention it's not necessary in this case because it's always a choice. If I had a dollar for every time I've seen a female start dating girls because of a bad breakup I'd be rich. We will never agree. So let's agree to disagree.

  • @complex973; Science can't explain everything, but it has explained LGBTs. You must just be too ignorant to figure out how to check out a library book.

  • @complex973; Equality under the law. What you are talking about are individual beliefs and group norms (socialization and psychology) which have nothing to do with the Constitution, legislation or application of law.

  • @complex973 of course there is still discrimination, with time it will reduce and its cases like this (constance) that help to cement that equality.

  • So, how old were you when you 'chose' to be straight?

This is an argument that you will never win because sexuality IS determined in the womb, biologists are very close to identifying the causes which are a combination of genes and maternal hormone levels during pregnancy.

Good news for you though, ignorance IS a choice, so there is hope for you if you try reading a few publications by intelligent, knowledgeable people, rather than being influenced by idiotic, unsubstantiated bigotry.
