Christianity isn't all about 'being nice', Jesus said blessed are the peace makers, not the peaceful. These guys have a point, the bigger the religious organization the more corruption. The Catholic church has an awful track record, they remained completely silent through the 2nd World War. The church is not a building or organization the church is made of Christians, followers of Christ.

the new vocalist isnt as heavy as the old one but it works i guess. I kinda feel like they are holding back. the old guy was such a great compliment to the instrumental, idk I guess Ill just have to get used to it :/

That's what I enjoy so much about the metal scene. There's so many perspectives in the lyrics, and I find all of them fascinating (even if they don't agree with my own). Whitechapel's lyrics in The Powerless Rise don't spread a general hate for atheists; they make their views known, which I appreciate even though mine conflict.

That's what I enjoy so much about the metal scene. There's so many perspectives in the lyrics, and I find all of them fascinating (even if they don't agree with my own).
