shut the @$^@# up if you hav nothing nice to say about her riding yes she isnt galloping but that horse is not bui;t to gallop she is doing a great job getting him to caner and keep a ligh seat
I've been looking for a Shire horse for easy riding. I would prefer an older 'all around horse' i live outside Toronto ont. If you have any information or suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. Your video was great. Thanks again heres my email) anniekayla@hotmail.ca
For all the people complaining that she's cantering, not galloping: the definition of a canter is a 'confined gallop'. Oh and it's common to lean forward like that when bringing a heavy horse forward because they can jerk you about when they take up a canter/gallop. Source: 10+years' horseback riding, with a love for draughts.
Who cares if it s a fucking Canter or Galopp? In England & America for example it s a Canter, here in Germany it s a Galopp. She s doing well with the horse, nice Video, that s all that counts for me.
Fox Hunters Look!!! - We've got a couple of real nice Draftx horses for sale with photos/videos online. Several are out of our own black stallion, 'DUDLEY' who is known for stamping his offspring with the BEST BRAINS, ATHLETIC ABILITY and CHROME! If anyone is interested, let me know with a CALL (845) 255-0177 - These are some real nice riding horses I'm offering. No vices or issues. Yes, we have a web site so you can shop from home!!!
This is my horse Mak. He is a Shire crossed with a Belgian and TB. The girl riding him in this video owned him before me and is a truely great rider! Mak is the best!! The reason he is on the incorrect lead in the video is because he has arthritis in his left stifle and hock and therefore has a hard time cantering on his left lead. He goes really fast when he wants to, and is a great ride and an all around great horse! (:
This is why I rarely read comments. All horse people seem to think they know everything and are hyper critical of everyone. Are all of you perfect at everything you do? Get a life.
@zorbaknecromancer - and your reply to me made not one bit of sense. Jockeys don't ride Shires in races, fool. Someone posts a video of their gorgeous horse and everyone immediately has criticism for her. Guess what! I have 4 horses and have been riding all of my life and I could give two shits what other people think. I, for one, enjoy these kinds of videos. No reason to pick it apart. So....YOU get a life. By the way, chickie, I am not a dude. :)
Her leaning slightly forward in the trot is actually correct. It makes her MUCH softer on the horse's back. However, her hands and elbows are a little stiff as she appears to be using them and the reins for balance, but that's nothing a couple of lunge lessons without reins can't sort out! I think she did an amazing job personally.
so what if its in canter? do people actually realise how hard some horses are to get into gallop? and plus every rider has a different position they prefer when riding!!

@nickyx94 Probably because she titled it "galloping shire horse" and not "cantering shire horse", which makes her a total twit.

Yes That is not a trot it is a canter also if she keeps leaning forward like that she just may end getting thrown over
monicamay1984 1 year ago
@monicamay1984 She's taking a light seat position..it's different to leaning forward.
Cailincapall92 1 month ago
Its very light footed for a true Shire, lovely horse but looks like a cross.

why are people saying she cant ride? what the hell is she doing wrong?
she looks absolutely fine, leave her alone :|
& so what if shes cantering? my guess is that most shires are quite difficult to get moving because theyre a heavy built horse.
this doesnt go for all of them though, as ive seen my uncle's shire whizzing up the field LOL :P
MintyBabesxo 1 year ago 32
she CAN ride. yes she is cantering but at least she got the horse to move.
half the people who commented probly couldnt ride like her.
wrong lead? who gives a fuck is she doing dressage? is it a compertition? fuck no so who cares :)
good vid.
