Saw you at Burnsville Performing Arts Center 11/17/09. My first time to see you live, although I've heard your music on Cities 97 before. What an.... (ya know the word AWESOME is over used but that is what I thought), show you put on! You got the kids on stage and everyone was clapping and having a great time! I'll definitely make the effort to see you live again! :)
I know GB Leighton. He is a friend of my dads and if you look on the Taste of Minnesota he waves to us. My dad to hang out with him. I love going to his concerts. I think that he is the best singer in the world. I would love to buy another one of his CD's any day!! :D
I never liked country music, not that they are. I would never buy a Leighton album, and I have no interest in listening to them on the radio. With that being said, I have seen them 3 times at the Minnesota Music Cafe, and they are a top notch band. I can put my personal music preferences aside when I see a great band like this. I enjoy their shows more than some of the biggest bands I have ever seen. GB puts on a fantastic show and the Twin Cities is lucky to have a band like that around.
Kind of catchy but I feel funny liking it. Reminds me of Hootie and the Blowfish somehow. Doesn't sound like them but the songs are kind of bumble gummish that way.
I've always thought that GB Leighton's music sounded like happy B movie music. I don't know what it is about it. I guess I hate this music because it just sounds...boring and fake to me. Hey if it makes people happy then what the hell.
Being someone who has seen this band for over 12 years, the only place that you should go see them is at Bunkers on Wed nights! Some nights are slower than others, but this is the bar where it all began!
I couldn't agree more. I have seen them several times in the FM area and have enjoyed each show tremendously. However, none of them hold a candle to what goes on at Bunkers.
I only found out about this band from the videos on youtube, but then I bought some of their music on itunes. Whenever I'm in Minnesota, i will definitely check them out!
Definitely do. They're awesome live! Half the fun of going is to see how much the crowd gets into their performance. Also, they do some amazing covers... anything from Kiss to Johnny Cash to Prince (Their version of Purple Rain kicks arse!!)

If this song is any indication of what the new cd will be like, gb leighton just might have their best album yet!

Cool crane moves! I love this song, and the way it is shot really supports the energy of the song! My friends and I love seeing them perform!
