Sorry -- the comet had this crazy outburst at the end of October 2007, and was visible to the naked eye for about 6 weeks after that. It would have been visible in England at that time, though. That's probably not much consolation...

today, it's in front of the bright star at the top of the triangle. if you look with binoculars or a telescope, it will look like that star is inside the comet.
