@redstratocaster1942 yes, pompeii, they did a film perfoming 6 songs, echoes(1&2), one of these days, careful with that axe, eugene, mademoiselle nobs, a saucerful of secrets and set the controls for the heart of the sun
Good song but I really don't think the plagiarism claim has too much depth. There are definitely cuts that sound similar or exact from both pieces but artists do that all the time. I think that If ALW takes a 3 second piece of the song and layers it under the main song it's fine. Really ALW didn't even use a true chromatic scale for the PotO. You only hear the tune for a minute at most throughout the song. Most of the emphasis is on the vocals.
@UltimateBeast17 Roger was just being coy; his typical self during that time. He claims that he has "mellowed out" more & I suppose he should, considering life is so beautiful to always be biting on nails & chewing sand. Roger said that he'd like to do one last tour, but now apparently Dave is acting coy, when before it was Roger! It makes me wonder if Dave is doing it in spite. Pink Floyd should tour one more time, for the fans, a final "farewell." "We're doing this for Rick."
Marijuana can expand your mind to appreciate the Floyd but there music is life changing regardless of your state of mind. My favorite group by far. Gilmour's voice is moving and very perfect for the sound that Waters came up with both compliment each other to form PERFECTION.

@pinkfloydmonster It takes courage to write those words. Now consider yourself and those around you. You have so much potential and only you can escape the sadness and move on to working on a project in your life you always wanted to achieve. Just do it! Don't convince yourself you are anything less than remarkable. Life is a fantastic gift, go out there and explore. You can do it!
