@teretanac1992 for me it's the best phone i've used sound wise. i've still got my N95 and i find the sound on it really poor in terms of quality and loudness both on the speakers and headphone. i recently wanted to upgrade to the galaxy s, but sound wise i was right off it. the over thing is you can hack into the sound settings and make it even louder. they are set lower safety reasons. i'm think about the new omnia 7, but if the sound isn't as good i'll stick with my i8910 for now

i just sold my n97 and bought i8910. n97 slow heavy i was going to get ip3gs, htc hd2 or n900 but choose this until the sony x10 or lg louve is out as i want a snapdragon cpu with a 8-12mp cam

i just got this phone it is the best phone that i have own. 100 time better them the iphone 3gs it louder faster and you cant beet the HD camera, i do have also and iphone 3gs it is for sale in eBay. SAMSUNG OMNIA HD IS THE BEST PHONE ON THE MARKET.

Those are loud ass speakers! And the video boots up in no time at all. This is better than the Iphone.

if you want surf in the internet much buy a ihpone no phone can beat iphone 3gs or 3g in the internet speed ( that browser is very fast ) if you want have a good camera,video , OLED display , symbian OS, so go for the omnia , GPS speed is the same i am going for the omnia ..

what do you think is omnia better than i phone? and i heard that the sound is very bad is that true?? and the battery...is bad to...i you load it full so you can use it for 6 h and not more is that true?? thanks for you help! peace

its not true. if you load the battery it will be for 400 hours on. it has one bug if you use the GPS and if you dont restart your phone the GPS will be still active in background and GPS use much batterylife... so the battery life is rly not short you just need to update the phone version 2.0 the bug will be fixed. the sound bug is now fixed too the new video codec is AAC ;) it has better hardware than the iphone ( camera,video but it has same CPU and same RAM.

Hey, younger people keep themselves busy too. I'm in uni (just got home the other day) doing a pretty tough course. I have a job while I'm home. I also have a gf, so I get the usual bickering with her too, and my mother childminds so there's always parades of kids around xD

Anywho, now I am home i'm going to try and dig out my dads camera at some point. Problem then solved :)

I had a job, college, a gf, crippling debts, loans, mortgage etc but I still made time to visit family up north and go out the town with friends. I have a 4 foot model I made during all this it took me 2 years with thousands of individual parts.

Maybe that will fix your audio recording issue.

Or is it a sync problem with the firmware just not quite there yet??

The sync in the videos is fine. Youtube or my LG viewty would be messing that up. I'm just on about the general recording quality.

Thank you for sharing! I've asked everywhere, and noone could tell me how fast it started recording, and that's such a HUGE deal. I can't count the number of times I would see something happening, and be like SWEET! and bust out my phone, go through the stupid menu system to get to the video recorder, hit record, and wait... wait.. wait... and then it would finally start recording, and.... you guessed it, I missed the shot! That's AMAZING!!!! I can't believe how fast it starts recording... that's phenomenal! I had a Nokia e90, and it would take a solid 10 seconds before I could start recording... ughh... just terrible. This, however, is great! Thanks for sharing! Gery

Doesn't sound that terrible I don't think. Hard to tell when it's coming from a video within a video I guess.

Meh here's hoping they update it in a firmware update, luckily not a hardware problem =P

Video recording is excellent but the audio is disgusting! Such a good device with crappy audio...Hope you will able to fix it with a firmware update!!!
