I lost my dad May 16th 2011, 11 days before my birthday, his birthday is in 4 days and i don't know how i'll be able to keep the same smile on my face. It's hard to fake a smile everyday so the people around you don't get down too. Just knowing that he won't be there to give my boyfriend his blessing, to walk me down the aisle, to see his grandchildren, it hurts so badly! He wasn't just my dad he was my bestfriend...I miss him so much!

Your dad will be proud of youu for doing this, it may not be there to help others but im sure it is a huge comfort, giving them acknowledgement that soemone else is there and feels the way they do! My dad died after me not speaking to him for 7 years for many reasons an i blame myself everyday for not being able to stop that. The first line in this " a fake smile but such real tears", i say that daily an no one every understands.
