If I may point out, it took all three of those UNSC ships to take down that one Covenant ship...with the Destroyer blown to bits and both the Frigate and the Cruiser taking quite a beating.

The Brutes also employ Guerilla tactics, a lot. And with brutal efficiency. And im not saying the Spartans dont always win canonically, im saying they shouldnt...

One Elite Zealot would be an easy match for a Spartan. Bungie only make the UNSC "Win" all the time, becasue its a general thing for weak minded people that the good guys always win, even though they should have got their ass kicked, Ive never seen a game, where the bad guys win. Yet. It is ridiculous.

Mostly, covenant tactics are suicidal in a way, how the elites constantly sacrifice themselves, and how the grunts go kamikaze. The only part I don't get is how the UNSC manage to hold off the covenant for longer than 2 minutes, because of how the covenant tear through their armor plating so easily in space.

I know. It is frustrating. He also portrays the Elites as idiots. They continue running into a solid wall of heavy gunfire, coming from an unexplained direction. A zealot would have kicked a Spartans ass. Im not even sure a single shot would have taken his shield off. That range is just about within the kill range of a standard Elite/Spartan. Anything outside of that, and theyll survive, espesh a Zealot, who has an energy shield 3 times stronger then normal

The Spartans usually win a fight against a superior enemy using guerrilla tactics, but yes agree that he's ignoring a lot. UNSC usually wins on the ground, but the Covenant almost always wins in space.

This was done with an animation program, random cutscenes, and a mix of Halo and Halo 2. All the custom content other than voices and animation sequences were likely done using Halo CE (Custom Edition), which allows for custom content, like the marine character at the beginning.

Since Halo and Halo 2 use the same engine (albeit some improvements), they look alot alike, which holds an advantage when using cutscenes and in-game characters from several different sources.

I just use the texture, bumpmaps, and other stuff that comes with the extracted models. I am sure I could beat them up to all my hearts content... but if you notice in game none of the models have what you are asking for. Infact in this part of the film I did beat up and put holes and damage on a model of the apollo. You just have to look closely.

If i might make a suggestion, next time stay with either halo 1 or halo 2 for the actual ground battle fight sequences. Halo 1 has alot of mods where you can become a marine, odst, ect. so thats the one id recommend. other than that, the 3d animation & the storyline are excellent. Keep it up.
