  • wow they had GPS back then.

  • wonder how they would get the position indicator map to work accurately with 60's technology?

  • Funny the Cougar 2 looks like a mix of 70's Firebirds and Corvettes....

GM, you got sum 'splaining to do!!! hahaha

  • that station wagon is such an awesome car, I want one

  • Position indicator map????

WTF? didn't it GPS came on the late 80s?

  • Ha ha haaa...."today´s dream cars"...ah ha, haaaa....5:27...ha,haaa....What the heck is that at 5:36, LOL.

  • The grill of the Edsel was certainly inspired by nature. The camel toe!

  • awesomeness !!

  • I feel like im back in middle school again watching an informative film like this lol. Never knew they had adjusting peddles back in the 60's

  • This movie talks about Mustang two. That was not one of Fords better ideas.

  • @slinky460 The narrator is not talking about the mid-1970's era Mustang. The original Mustang concept car was a fiberglass two seater. This design was scrapped because it would not have sold in large numbers...two seat cars are not big sellers. The next Mustang concept car was a 2+2 design that was based on the Ford Falcon. This Mustang concept car was known as "Mustang II".

  • @MrSloika Yeah I understand what you are saying. I had a 65 Mustang GT convertible for 12 years with the bench seat and all the options. I only paid $600 for it in 74 and when I sold it, got $5000 for it and it was really worn out as I drove 75 miles a day to work and back. I put three engines and transmissions in it, the front end was weak and needed replacement often. The body finally rusted through in several places. They were rust buckets, I know. But it was nice looking.

  • FORD was way ahead of its time with the Ideas presented Herein.

  • I wish I could adjust the steering wheel to my 2008 Mercury Marquis like the Allego! So sad that today our choices are limited to econo boxes or big farm implements called SUVs

  • Yep, that took me back to the 1960 World's Fair in NY. Nice designs they were working on. Agree with prior comment as it is fun to see how many features came into existence (well, not the bar tho!).

How the heck did all that cool stuff turn into SUVs? (sigh)

    Thanks for posting.

  • @MsHolidayLights: I think you mean 1964 New York World's Fair. I remember it, too! Cheers!

  • You can see some of the future Fords on the road today in these early concept cars.

  • @5:27

    It's a Kazoo!

    Great film; thanks for posting.
