The reason why foreign dubs are considered better by many people is because people who don't speak the language fluently won't fully understand the subtleties (tone manipulation, syllable emphasis) used to convey certain emotions. Because of this you read the subtitles and create your own interpretations of how the voices should sound in your language. The truth is you don't really know if the English or Japanese dub is better. Granted you don't know the langauge

@SomeForeignGuyStudio It just feels more real when hearing it in Japanese. I can hear the tone manipulation, obviously, so that's not much of a problem. Maybe it's because I'm used to subtitles, I don't know. Also, it's quite probable I wouldn't be as good as I am in English today had the English language programs I watched when I was young been dubbed rather than subtitled.

Great teacher Onizuka: SUB is better but DUB is OK

Cromartie HIghschool: Only funny to me in DUB/ or should I say your own language

Gintama: Awesome and if ever gets a DUB, it wouldn't be funny

The list goes on with SUBs being the majority for obvious reasons with some DUBs actually worth it to watch
