Have much trouble with shelling in the snapping rolls? I never really got to observe on ours or the neighbors if the rotating bar in it caused trouble or not?
Depends on moisture content. Not so much if it's a little wet. I can adjust by adding or removing the snapping roll lugs or by moving the snapping rolls closer or farther apart. If I remove lugs, I start at the front leaving the rear ones to make sure trash doesn't plug the rolls.
The Wood Brothers picker removes the ear from the stalk and then removes the husk from the ear --- delivers cob and corn to the trailing wagon. They don't remove the grain from the cob. I grind the cob along with the grain for my cows.

I meant the rotating bar above the snapping rolls that is supposed to help in snapping ears off the corn.

The WD 45 was the first Allis Chalmers available with power steering. Does that one have power steering?

No, This one did not. I sold it not long after I made the video as I had trouble getting on & off the tractor. Otherwise, a good old tractor.
