Thanx .. when you look at the later vids you can see that we got our field extended by a beautifull asphalt landing strip .. too bad of the light poles that we hit sometimes ;-)

Hey those were some nice landings considering how tight it was! Your friends need to get out of the way! Looks like you were flaring and then left ground effect to avoid the pole and stalled. Bummer, glad you fixed it.

Also keep in mind the CG is so close to the main landing gear,, so it usually tips nose first during a rough landing

That's the great thing for this Art-tech Mustang. Just reduce throttle and don't touch the elevator and it will lower itself very gently while keeping stable at very low speed. Last part is to lower is not too fast or she will tip over .....

formula for a perfect landing.... vertical speed low... even if you need horizontal speed faster.

more vertical speed means more stress on your plane, if you hit with a high v speed you risk damaging your plane or getting an unexpected response from it. With a low vertical speed you plane will roll onto the ground rather than slamming down onto it.

vertical speed is speed is the speed at which the plane is descending.
