  • Thanks jolanda vandid or what ever you said your name was. I think I rather have a few mosquito bits than red hot chilli powder with fu ckin oil and vinegar all over my body.

  • This an interesting video with practical tips on how to help prevent mosquito using easily accessible items from your garden or kitchen. I wish a mosquito free days while you enjoy the outdoors.

  • Soak lavender blossoms in gin for 2 weeks. Then use as a spray. Mosquitos hate the smell.

  • why don't mosquitoes like eucalyptus?

  • @littlebigkidz probably the same reason some poeple dont particulary like certain types of food because of the taste or the smell of them.

  • Non-pesticide based mosquito prevention is always appreciated!

  • Cool, Handy advice for out in the bush or camping as well.

  • i wouldn't recomend using oil

    you will practicaly fry yourself!!

  • @Supertomiman Mosquitoes don't like full sun so you don't need to use any oils during that period. They are most active at dusk and dawn.

  • loool yeah i wouldnt recommend red hot pepper on your skin..specially if you have a bruise or cut...you can just buy the spray instead of rubbing spices and oil on your skin

  • @edmon69 She wasn't recommending application of any pepper on your skin, dummy! Along with cinnamon, the peppers that she recommended were not intended for use on your body. It is intended for use throughout your yard as a general repellent, something to make them not even want to be in your yard!

  • thx; i watched this vid cuz im alergic to det, and its founed in alot of bug sprays.

  • @KGBailey7 u mightnt even be allergic, its just that deet is extremely bad for your skin and too much of it will agrovate anyone

  • @yojialjimbo Yeah my skin is very sensitive.

  • Thanks for the tips.

  • what if some of us sizzle like bacon in the sun

  • @hyptormors MMMM........... bacon

  • What if I burn olive oil with those spices mixed in ....will that help?

  • The main problem in the area where I live is ticks. Will these suggestions help repel ticks? Do you know of a natural tick repellant?

  • @AnonaMysst yep, a pair of tweezers ;)

  • Some nice good practical advice , thank you. To add it into the veg. oil do we have to heat or boil it or can we just drp it in there and it will desolve?

  • no heating or boiling necessary. just wash the leaves clean, crush them and drop them in the oil. Allow to sit for a while i.e. until the oil starts smelling of whatever herb you are using and then u are good to go. I would also advise that you shake the bottle once a day.

  • Sorry, but I'm not rubbing red hot pepper ANYWHERE on my body.
