  • let us get high

drug abuse exists because of the dealers at least if a state allows it, it would be more controlled

  • I love Ron Paul, and John Stossel!

  • Calling All R3VOLUTIONARIES FOR LIBERTY!!! Get Involved in the RON PAUL SIGN BOMB!

    GOOGLE IT!

  • AND THE TRUTH SHALL SET US FREE

    I LOVE THIS MAN!!

  • you tax drugs and tax prostitution instead of using tax money to get rid of them and boom we have more money to put into education to teach people that drugs are bad and that they can study and become doctors instead of prostitutes... perfect world no?

  • He's upholding the constitution & FREEDOM OF CHOICE is a massive part of the constitution. In a truly free society, people should be to CHOOSE how they want to avail their freedom AS LONG AS they're not hurting others. I think he'll get a lot of Dems on his side, if they ever hear him on this issues & a lot of Reps due to his stance on free market, less gov, less taxas but that's exactly why Zionist-media doesn't want people to hear him because they know he won't be their puppet

  • In USA when you told the true, immediately you will be bannir in CNN, FOX NEW and ABC, you can told every thing, except only the true !

  • It's better idea to nationalize the illegal drug trade. Stop burning the weed.

Hey you got that right. Get the state out of the marriage business.

Prostitution, sorry the state must protect children and women from exploitation.

    Harming other people.

  • @MyRepresentativeOrg

How can you take a certain stance one issue & a complete opposite stance on another similar issue? You're ok with de-criminalizing drugs but not prostitution? Of course, children must be protected by setting age-limits no matter what we're talking about but I really don't see any problem with de-criminalizing prostitution. Criminalizing it means pimps will lurk on "regular women", kidnap & force them into prostitution which only hurts the larger female community

  • the portuguese legalized all drugs in 2005(not entirely sure about the year though) and statistics show lesser drug traffic aswell as HIV infections ever since... the dutch got legalized prostitution and cannabis and the crime dried up to an extent that they have to import criminals from belgium... so will building more prisons really help?

i'm not saying drugs should be used but just saying: don't or you'll go to jail maybe isnt the best way to discourage it's use... but what do i know...

  • We need to build more prisons.

Then we need to lock up all the pot heads and hookers!

  • @bdjennings

Yeah, right & waste more of taxpayers' hard-earned money so those worthless souls !!! What's the point of it? Most people who get hooked on drugs rarely ever give it up & prostitutes also rarely give up their ways so why waste money on such people? If the same hard-earned money is left with the taxpayers then they'll be able to better their lives, invest that money somewhere which means more goods/services & hence lower prices & more job-creation. WHY waste it on such futile cause?

  • Ron Paul is wrong!

  • Why is he wrong?

  • The legal drugs, tobacco & alcohol, are by far the most deadly. Prohibition of alcohol never worked - it only enriched the mafia. Drug prohibition doesn't work either. Ron Paul is completely sane & intelligent on this, and is exposing the hypocrisy and uselessness of drug laws

  • i love this guy .. truly an american

  • Why can't all politicians be like this guy? Why do politicians inevitably want to control more and more of your life?

  • @christo930 Because politicians are too afraid of public opinion, and get their votes from people who fear what they don't know. For issues like this it would almost be political suicide to speak what they really believe.

  • The really sad thing is (about drugs, anyway) is that most people seem to support legalizing the soft drugs at least. It's just assumed that it's suicide and the media, of course, makes a gigantic stink out of it. Realistically ,we would be so much better off if the politicians simply followed the constitution. If the supreme court had any balls, they would overturn drug laws as unconstitutional.

  • It depends on who the politicians are trying to woo. The Republicans were traditionally for less and less government control over people's lives, but every since they started sucking up to the religious right, they've been wrapped round their little fingers. If everyone really spoke what they thought, we'd make lots of progress really quickly. But they've gotten where they are by giving lip service to a particular stance and now they're stuck.

  • You're right. I often hear people complaining about neocons, and they are a concern, but the "moral majority" types are far worse and most of them support the neocon agenda anyway. This is why religion needs to be taxed. They use their money and position for politics and get a free pass on everything.

  • Most of the people who favor drug laws are for lower taxes, I wonder if we could figure out the true cost of the war on drugs, how many of those people would be willing to foot the bill (especially if it had to be paid for via taxes and not deficit and inflation)

  • Great interview.

  • wait, why was this interview banned???

  • @rustaayy Because 1) It's Ron Pauk and he belongs to neither the Republicans or Democrats when running for the presidency and 2) He speaks the truth - and the truth undermines nearly every law or conflict the Us is involved in.

  • That's how the country was designed to be under the Constitution.

States can make laws among themselves and the Feds keep their hands off and occupy themselves with the Army.

  • Russia is a bunch of small countries?

  • Duh.. Youre almost as smart as Ron paul..

  • I was refrring to what you meant by your comment. Pleae, feel free to explain yourself.

  • He won't explain himself. Stupid people don't explain, they just whine.

  • Well, at least he can't say I didn't give him the opportunity to speak his tiny mind.

I was being polite and inviting him into the possibility of a massive torrent of abuse. After making him cry, I would then be nice to him and offer him advice.

Hopefully from this psychological experience he would learn, it may encourage him to be a littler nicer to those around him.

  • Thats the greatest argument I have ever heard for not supporting Ron Paul. What a concise, hard hitting beam of truth you have aimed at all the internet trolls and other assorted dummies who don't just watch TV and scan the front page of the newspaper to form their worldview. You are a genius.

  • It's so rare these days to hear an American politician speak with such wisdom. And with such honesty. He really BELIEVES in the things he's saying. Unlike the hypocritical liars who always get the real power.

  • All Americans have this belief and that has what has unified the American people not democrats or republicans!!! We are all bound by a common interest and that is life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

  • each time ron paul opens his mouth...you can feel that everything hes says is very good and true.

  • Watching this video is painful. It's painful to think that the world must be forced to live in a nanny state. Or the world must be forced to live under the tyranny of Sharia or Communism.

That's our choices. Violently oppressive tyranny or nanny state socialist tyranny. Take your pick.

Oh wait! You don't get a choice. The powers that be picked Obama and McCain - six of one, half-a-dozen of the other. Doesn't matter which one is in office, they'd both run us deeper into the ground.

  • When Ron paul was running for President the netrworks ignored him and now he's on TV all the time. Hmmmm!!!!!!

  • this man is brilliant..

  • Once the government is able to control and regulate these issues we'll see crime rate go down dramatically. We'll also see safety in these substances. If you get your marijuana from an authorized, legal shop, it's going to be a lot safer than what some guy grew in his yard and then laced with whatever he pleases.

  • give the states back their reserved powers! its in the constitution for a reason! the founders knew of the shortcomings of democracy and that ultimately it fails when you give to much power to one particular entity! it has happened time and time again in Greece and Rome and Europe!

    STOP THE TYRANNY!

  • Greece? and Rome? and Europe?...they are all Europe.

  • im talking about the ancient Greek and Roman empires

  • i know what you are taking about but they are both in europe and then you used europe as another example

  • wow...this man is everything i have come to think a true politician should be...amazing, it's so true what he says, he is the modern age King Arthur....All hail the King!...I don't normally vote (i just think it's a sham and people don't really have much say or a real choice) but i would def. vote for this man!

  • "Don't impose your reltionship one someone else"...

PLEASE tell me that includes relationships with Jesus!

  • "Whether its personal behavior, or economic behavior, I think people should have freedom of choice."

  • I like Ron Paul, I vote for legalizing weed...but I do not agree with the legalization of heroin or cocaine...they are drugs that should only be used if a patient is on their death bed in order to help them deal with the suffering.

..weed is actually safer than alcohol.

  • its not the point of whether its harmful or not, its the government saying what you can or cant do with your personal life, so long you dont endanger someone else

  • Break out the guillotines.

  • Never saw this one, thanks for posting.

  • why has this only been viewed 556 times? Everyone should watch this.

  • He clearly wants to get the FEDERAL Government out of the lives of citizens. He trusts that the states will not legalize current federal crimes but they at least would be out of the reach of federal.

Give the rights back to the states while they still have some.

    FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OUT..........

  • Exactly
