Jimmy Manson was the former DRUMMER of Gorillaz, not guitarist, and was an insane hippie who wanted to start a new band with Murdoc by killing off 2D, Noodle, and Russel. Murdoc pretended to join an alliance with him and marked Noodle as his first target. Obviously, this backfired on Jimmy, so JIMMY is dead. However, this song speaks of a JOHNNY, who has never been mentioned before or since in the Gorillaz story, so I really don't know what "Johnny is dead" is supposed to mean.
