  • It should be noted that when Strauss presented this opera originally in Dresden and later in other German opera houses, the dance was, on his instructions, done by a ballerina, not by the soprano. Perhaps that tradition should have been continued...

  • Mystakes in horns 1:13 :-)) but choreography is nice !

  • very beautifully choreographed, she has very elegant moves... I think this scene is one of the hardest on opera... is not about the singing, is about giving dramatic weight and logic to the character, so the singer has to dance... and not do it too vulgar.

  • Moron- its a singer doing a dancer's job- if it was around the other way you would say she couldn't sing. If you don't know what you are talking about its better to shut your trap

  • Moron you can be yourself. Obviously a dancer cannot do a singers job. Especially not this part where hardly any singers can even sing it. A singer can not do a dancers job either. A dancer has been schooled most of their life. Obviously it will never be the same, but you must be able to admit that some people posess a natural grace that enables them to at least do a decent performance.
