This is CLOSE to a superior performance, but not quite. The voices are very beautiful, but strict adherence must be taken to dynamics, because that distinct rise and fall of the lines is not only what marks this romantic style, but a majority of Mendelssohn's songs.

nicely done! My choir is also performing this, I believe in the winter concert, but parts we sing in German and others in the english translation, going back and forth. Once again, beautiful performance.
