I was forced to read it in my English class,hated it. Just because every other word is a fancy adjective doesn't make it good writing. It's way to cliché, the characters have no flaws whatsoever, and even Stephen King(1 of the greatest authors of all time) says Stephanie Meyer "can't write worth a darn". All of the really obsessive Twilight fans ruined Comic Con for everyone.

I couldn't have said better, my friend. The only reason why Twilight became popular between teenagers it's because its story catches girls right in their weak spot, which is the "teenager idealizations": being popular/intelligent/getting the guy of their dreams... Stuff like that.

The age from 12 to 17 (and sometimes further) has the common characteristic of not having their mind focused on the rotten, cruel side of reality as well, so is Twilight.
