ugh i hate storms too! i lived on the coast of south texas for a few years and omg those were some of the scariest storms EVER, especially with the threat of hurricanes.

you're by yourself, aside from your kitty, right? that makes it even scarier!

Oh that sucks scary I feel you. I visited Mexico and it had the worst thunder and lighting Scary!!! I wanted to go home. Ur cat is hilarious he reminds me of what my dogs do they always got to be right there seeing what is going on. hahaha!

Buy noise cancelling earbuds. May I recommend Westone UM1's. They are somewhat expensive, but worth every penny. They are super-duper comfortable and they have terrific sound quality. Best of all though, they block out all exterior noise. I use them on planes all the time and sleep like a baby :)

2) look after yourself. thunder is only fun if you like it. you don't like it. so just look after yourself. I didn't like it at first so i listened to music through my headphones. it helps, trust me

my best friend gets SOOO scared over thunderstorms and lightning... she always calls me and freaks out. I personally love em. My mom used to turn off all the lights, open the blinds and make popcorn lol... for real. So now I see it as entertainment :P
