I can relate to what you say about this game, I like the game cause I like the sea, but the fact that there is no danger in touching poisonous fish or swimming in shark infested waters while throwing bloody bait around makes this game a little hard to swallow, especially the story plot it has about an ancient civilization that excisted in the area of the game. It goes on about some special Blue whale bigger than the regular blue whale. And when you beat the game, it feels incomplete.
The game is actully quite good. I mean it's like diving and finding all of the fish that live underwater. The only cons in this game is ther jerky controls on your Wii Remote and it's not really exciting as you think. But still, it's good but not as perfect. Oh yeah, one more thing. There's a sequel!

I thought this review was going to be a serious professional one. How wrong. I had my 3yr and 5 yr old girls with me when I started watching this as they like fish and the idea of exploring. Disliking the game is one thing but swearing like in this review is not needed.
I'm 14, and I love this game. It IS fun, there is more to it than just doing nothing. It's really good, you get to explore loads of things, caves, sunken palaces and stuff, find things on the ocean floor..it's quite good.
Oh, by the way, ONM (official Nintendo magazine) gave this game 87% in their review, and they know their stuff. So yeah, I recommend it if you are a person who loves more than just mindless violence. It is perfect for the young or casual gamer! =]

Ahh finaly a game for people that like sitting in the dentist office. I cant tell you how many nights ive dreamt of a game like this that would remind me of those prescious times getting my teeth drilled while staring at jellyfish painted on the ceiling.
I think you hit the nail on the head about this video game, and I also think the game is "crossing borders" by having you pet the fish, I think it's geared for kids and some kind of instructional thing to learn about fish-lot of reading in there for someone who would want to go into that "field" of knowledge. Great video mechanics on your part, I really admire your timing, like some superskilled ability coming through your work that shows up whenever I watch your videos.

Ugh, did this comment actually get a thumbs up? It seems violence is the only thing that is set on many people's minds these days, unbeknownst to the fact that there are so many other forms of entertainment (leisurely diving being one of them).

Well, I have every right to speak my mind too about the game and how I feel about it. And I would review it but...I don't really have a microphone and I don't have any means of taking full screen game footage as of now (I'm only 14 so I can't really earn my own income). yeah i totally hear you but again i cant play the entire length of the game for alot of reasons. short on time, and dvd-r media time restraints as well as computer slowdown from the file size.

Yeah, I think I can relate. These days I usually only have enough time to finish the story modes of games (including Endless Ocean) since I have too much time to do and can't go off on sidequests. Then again, I think I did go a bit too far with my comments. I think that if you didn't like it then that's fine, I shouldn't have written over 5 comments about it. I guess I was just a bit enraged after seeing comments on your videos calling the game shovelware despite the fact that I found it great.
...and its just like you said at the end of the review. This game only appeals to a certain audience and YOU obviously are not part of that audience. So why are you reviewing it? Its like making an action fanatic who loves nothing else review a dating sim. To think that this decent or even great game done with a lot of effort (underwater ruins, a huge ocean, caves to explore)is being disapproved by someone who doesn't even like that sort of thing is almost an insult. You have to add it onto a sd memory card.
Then just put it in and it goes into a box on the ship that you click then select your own song

I think you hit the nail on the head about this video game, and I also think the game is "crossing borders" by having you pet the fish, I think it's geared for kids and some kind of instructional thing to learn about fish-lot of reading in there for someone who would want to go into that "field" of knowledge. Great video mechanics on your part, I really admire your timing, like some superskilled ability coming through your work that shows up whenever I watch your videos.

Instead of diving in the ocean and petting fish, you should be able to catch them and cut them open. That's a good way to learn about fish and junk.

...suffer because of that too (just read Gamespot's review of Ratchet and Clank: Future Tools of Destruction or Lost Odyssey and see what I mean, those reviewers have no idea what they are talking about). Anyways, in the end, the majority of my opinion disagrees with this review and its overall reflection on how the game is. If you are still unsure of the game and you have an open mind, I say you shouldn't be afraid to buy it or try it out.

Well, I have every right to speak my mind too about the game and how I feel about it. And I would review it but...I don't really have a microphone and I don't have any means of taking full screen game footage as of now (I'm only 14 so I can't really earn my own income). I might make some in the future though.

yeah i totally hear you but again i cant play the entire length of the game for alot of reasons. short on time, and dvd-r media time restraints as well as computer slowdown from the file size.
i wish i could give 20 minute reviews of games like this because then i could be more detailed. plus youtube has 10 minute time limits...

Yeah, I think I can relate. These days I usually only have enough time to finish the story modes of games (including Endless Ocean) since I have too much time to do and can't go off on sidequests. Then again, I think I did go a bit too far with my comments. I think that if you didn't like it then that's fine, I shouldn't have written over 5 comments about it. I guess I was just a bit enraged after seeing comments on your videos calling the game shovelware despite the fact that I found it great.

...and its just like you said at the end of the review. This game only appeals to a certain audience and YOU obviously are not part of that audience. So why are you reviewing it? Its like making an action fanatic who loves nothing else review a dating sim. To think that this decent or even great game done with a lot of effort (underwater ruins, a huge ocean, caves to explore)is being disapproved by someone who doesn't even like that sort of thing is almost an insult. So many other game genres...

...a character's name?, complaining about how certain unidentified fish look in your encyclopedia? (and yes, some marine life DO look like that, my mom does lots of research regarding that and you can see some pretty crazy looking stuff) Complaining about how you can't use an analog stick on the boat when pointing and holding works just fine? ...the developers weren't aiming for some sort of hardcore Devil May Cry 3 level of challenge and satisfaction. They were trying to let you go at your own pace.
