I just came from the Hamburg concert (06.07.08)It was very, very special but the audience was a little bit strange. Most of them, didn´t knew the Berlin record, so they were waiting of Lou Reed´s "smash hits". For me it was a "smash concert hit", enjoying every second with the power of the heart!

Hey I´ve been there too and it was sooo great. Much more then I had expected - perfect.Even the mood was great although it was far from sold out. But we were all with Lou. And it was me screaming "sweet Jane" all the time - sorry for this, but I knew that he played it as encore last year. Didn`t want to spoil your temper. Hail Lou

You didn´t spoil it! I enjoy when the audience doing feedback by screaming for encore-songs! Since "magic and loss"-tour, I didn´t missed a tour and mostly I screamed also "Sweet Jane"; or "Lisa says" very loud!. But last sunday in Hamburg, maybe sitting on a wrong place! I´ve heard your excited screams, far away from me at the right side of the CCH, and thought "Wow-there are some ´rock´n roll animals´YEAH! But not around me.Lou was brilliant that night! I really love him!

The Berlin concert dvd will supposedly be released *any minute now* - the website says spring 2008. I can't wait...

As far as I know, the Berlin tour was a one-time series of concerts, and it's over. Lou has said he wouldn't be doing that again, so we'll have to be content with video unless he changes his mind.

Hi Lopyi, thanks for puttin' up this video. I was at the concert, we came all the way from Bavaria to see Berlin live in Berlin, the only venue that is suitable when an album is called Berlin. Walk on the wild side was way better in Berlin than at the Heineken Music Hall. It's a shame he didn't film the concert for a DVD-Release. Berlin performed live in Berlin, come on Lou you missed that.

Heineken Music Hall 06-20-07 lou reed preforms berlin was the BEST concert I've ever seen or heard! :)!What I heard in the heineken music hall was like magic. Sgt Pepper of 1970? kiss my ass. I'm sorry but if you keep a beatle for 40years it grows dust. If you carry around the same stone for 40years it get's shiny and looks real polished. But with Rock its diffrend. after 40 years it's even harder then metal
