@eazy187 When I originally did it, I used other notes on the step sequencer to cut it off. Now I would probably use a gate or something else.

yo dude is there anyway to clean up a sample I'm tired of sampling and getting a muddy sounding cut from old records and shit? should I use EQ? or the soundgoodizer?

@bumpyheadman You should ABSOLUTELY use EQ. A lot of people think that because a sample has been mixed and mastered already, that you shouldn't eq it. But that is definitely not the case. When you are adding heavy drums and other sounds, you definitely need to eq your samples to make it right.
