+1 i always shot springers then got a 40fpe pcp didint touch my springers for months after that, then when i did shoot one the recoil suprised me so much the gun rised 3 feet in the air and a foot to the left.just saying how much it suprised me

xxxdriftr it does not shoot pellets or bb's. It shoots .22 caliber bullets.

its an air force talon(AIR RIFLE) that shoots pellets.never heard of a pcp its not a .22lr but a .22 air rifle.

the downside to this gun is it only hold 1 pellet/bb at a time =( i might not get this one now

I got the nikko nighteater scope from my local hunting shop here in NZ. You wil probably be better off going to pyramidair or something more local in the states, most gun shops should stock it. My scope rail is a B-square. Cant remember the make, im sure there are other decent double rails more avilable to you over there....

If you get a talon ss, it should be more quiet than a springer as standard. Takes quite a bit of modding to make it this loud with standard pellets. Anyone can make a crack with alloy's (lead free). You'll be fine

Mods, i didnt want it to be that loud. I have a decent moderator on it now so its not that bad.

Releasing 3Bar per shot @ 270 Bar really makes noise. Makes for good power down range though. I dont really care what people say about higher velocity vs less accuracy. Mostly depends on grain and B.C. .of pellet you use. Eg higher speed higher weight.

I could be rong , but with a full tank ,cant this gun shoot around 1400 fps ? Its verry close to the 9mm pistol that shoots 1600 pfs.

Standard it can shoot really light pellets at 1400. But the mods are more for heavier pellets. Standard it could barley shoot heavier 28 grain pellets past 1000fps, now we have them cracking around 1300fps. The mods dont seem to make the lighter pellets go much faster as excess air shoots out the barrel when lighter pellets are used because it takes less energy to move them, heavier pellets at higher speeds is where you get the real power and range imo...

We have had the crony reading 1508 fps before with Beeman lasers @ 13.36 grains on a good day. But theyre just too fast with no stability and no power downrange.

because the shape of the pellet created for subsonic speed

try shoot light pellet with the shape of m16 bullet at 1500 fps and see the accuracy

yeah the accuracy would be terrible, hence the reason why we swage our own pellets. Were only showing shots with more well known pellets for comparison sake....
