  • ça me fait pensser à air gear...

    enfin, bon courage!

  • slow and slow we might make it :D

  • ok judging the size of the battery we would need one abou thte size of a laptops battery pak

  • See why cant they just be electrically assisted rollerblades that dont necessarily propel you alone but increase the amount of push one gets from regular rollerblades.

  • Electric rollerblades are the best idea ever, personal propulsion, cars are dangerous if one does not know how to use it, so to with rollerblades, i would be all up for a government license to control who can SKILLFULY use these, i would love to boot around town even at 30 km per hour. such a feeling of freedom could be had. of course saftey gear would be a must. and perhaps a mild shock system where you wouldnt feel all the bumps.

a 10 pound backpack battery would extend the range far.

  • they are minted i wold skate around in them but are they watter resinstens and will not blow uo

  • i can tell you now. that system wont work to well. you have to take wheel erosion into account. i myself am working on an electric style where the motor is actually in the wheel its self. its a complicated and expesive design, but highly efficiant. just have to come up with a good power supply. and dont work. im not downing you. im hoping to incourage you.

  • @thedemonicclan even with the most powerful dc motor you will have no chance at any decent acceleration, you would need at least 6" diameter wheels that are 4"+ wide to house a motor powerful enough to move a person at a very slow rate. About the power issue, the only logical solution is a backpack to house the battery packs. face it, the dreams of having ATs anytime soon is just that, a dream.

  • this so cool i hope you can make it a reality =)

  • @thakimaru

    thanks i hope to...

I change someparts of it now. I find another propulsion systeme, very powerfull and very slim. I'mjust waitingfor a business angelnow ;)

  • @kiliweb that's great maybe in the near future your invention will be famous =)

i just cant wait to ride it on.

  • @kiliweb can i ask what it is or are there pictures? of course you might want to keep it a secret if you don't have a patent. has anybody here played jet set radio for the dreamcast. it's a rollerblading video game but in it they used magnetic micro motor(s) and mattster's weight shift sensors idea if I recall correctly.

  • @thakimaru

I'm shure that you can use it soon. Mabye it's not by my way but it's egal; I'm waiting to

  • @kiliweb yah i can use it anywhere i want to go, have you seen the anime air gear? maybe you can get some more ideas there =)

  • @kiliweb How come you cant lay the motor down flat? You would still have room in the back for the gear box needed, all you would need to worry about is the speed control, but if you came this far you could figure out a way.

  • @kiliweb How come you cant lay the motor down flat? You would still have room in the back for the gear box needed, all you would need to worry about is the speed control, but if you came this far you could figure out a way. And if you lessen the amount of wheels (say have two larger wheels with a wide space in the middle, larger wheels for easier balance)you would have more room for motor controls,or even more room for the motor to make them more comfortable.

  • i've been thinking.. if you spread out the wheels and made a bigger frame then you might be able to squeeze in a micro motor and two pressure sensors above the wheels, so when you shift your weight forward, you go forward and vice versa. also, you could shift you weight even more to go faster or slower.

  • @Mattster111997 That a very good proposition. I'm just waiting for some one or a company who's interessting to work on it. But your idée is very cool. Thank's about it

  • hurry up and make one guys and sell it on ebay!i'll be the first 8 to buy it and become a kingXD it'd be awesome,a revolutionary shoe inspired by an anime.

  • how did u do the variable speed control? the one must put more pressure on the wheel to go faster? because we might be able to make this

  • another you could yous two wheels like on airgear. then it could last longer.

  • its a good start but it would need a good moter as well.if you wont it to work you need a lot of money but it would work.

  • i like it. contact me maybe we can make it

  • what motor did you use?

  • well an easy way is just ell mythbusters to do it lol its a quiet intresting opic for then eletric rollerblades/air trecks/air gear

  • Hello,

I control the speed whit a "variable speed control" that you get on your hand (infrared).

My English is to bad to expland , sorry.

  • in English he said:To start up or to stop, is the propulsion pebble that comes in contact with the wheel for the entrainer. It positions himself against the wheel grace has acceleration. To accelerate one must put more pressure on the wheel.

  • I've actually started my own Project on something like this. One Question: How do you plan to control the system? I mean does it just go one speed, and even if: How you want to start-stop? When drivin you can't just bow and press the off, button.

  • this definetely seems like a plausible idea, next time i can most likely spend some cash on the fabrication of the frame so i can experiment with the idea

  • You're right, everything is ok to built a prototype. It's just a problem of money !!!

  • Hello,

I can not built it for the moment. It's just an idea and a prototype. I'm waiting for someone who's interesting about it and want to spend money to build the first one...Wait and see ;-)

  • iv'e actually been thinking about building a pair but i dont got big money but im gathering reserch for it

  • how can u build this and where can i get the parts

  • this is like air gears AT.

mes respects si tu parviens a tes fins :p

  • Oui, tu as surement raison.

  • yo dude that will be kool it will be like air gear you should make it

  • XD thats wat i was thinking

  • Yea.Ur right. 20 mph would be awesome!

But the faster u think of this, the faster you get this invention to the world. And money for u.lol

  • I hope so ;-], but now, i need money or technical help to work on it... Let see if someone want to work on it whis me?

  • Lol.u must search and stick to it xD.

  • you ever get get everyhting for it?

  • Dude. U should make it two big wheels on each shoe. like on Air Gear,if u can do this, you will like make a whole new Sport!!!

  • You're mabye right. I'm gonna think about. Thanks

  • No Problem dude. xD

Also, you shouldn't make the motor or engine too powerful because that could cause accidents.

But make it able to go about 10 mph at least.

    thats my opinion.

  • Why not,

but if you can control the speed why not a possibilitie to go to 20mph. If wanted of course!

  • i do agree with u though juz realease a prototype at least 20mph....^^

  • Mabye the motor of the scooter gomotorboard 1500x (one of the best) but i mabye find a smaller one that can be use. For the battery i dont no for the moment. My problem now is to built the support of all the parts in aluminium. That cost a lot of money...

  • whoah...did u get that idea from Air Gear?

  • Hello,

No absolutely not, just that way a nice morning ;-]

  • So what motor, and other supplies did you plan to use in the prototype.
