  • You forgot the duck fat or did you put in when you were cooking the poppy

  • you can heat the oven for 1 min , and put it there :)

  • where do you put the roll in the beginning when you see put it in a warm place???

  • @crazedanisa you mean after i bake it???

  • @yesorganicfood no when you put the active yeast in the milk and you say to put in a warm place. where would i put it? if the oven, for how long and what degrees?

  • @crazedanisa hi, 70-80f degrees that what meant by warm place :)

  • @yesorganicfood where do you put it though to get that temperature? i want to make this just like you do :D

  • @crazedanisa i think he means put in a warm place to rise, such as on top of your fridge or a place warm enough to let the yeast do its thing. it can be anywhere really...(just not in the bathroom or toielt) where i live in summer its humid so i just leave it on the counter top. lol

  • Emil, you are making me remember when I was a kid in New York and on Sunday's at my house the family would get together over things like bagels, lox, whitefish and pasties like Entenmanns and others. On certain Sunday's someone in the family would bring something new and one of those things was Hungarian Poppy Seed rolls! I have had them maybe 5 times in my life and now this is the 6th time! Your looks just like the one's we had back in New York. I am sure that they taste fantastic as well!

  • @MrEZCooking thanks a lot , let me know when you are in NYC :)

  • @yesorganicfood I don't get out there much anymore but if I do get out there I will be eating at your house!....:) I was telling my Mum about the poppy roll and she was telling me about how her Mum used to make it for her and sister when they were kids!
