Hey now, I've modelled with Guntars and have gotten to know him. He's very down-to-earth and a very nice guy; farthest thing from being snobby. He even said himself that this very interview was just a matter of "sarcasm gone wrong". Basically, if you laughed, then you understand him. If you didn't, then you just got it wrong. It's as simple as that.
i actually like that he's honest enough to tell that he's just modelling for the money! i mean c'mon, a lot of models do, only guntars had the balls to say it! wooohh
calm down people xD he's just honest! modeling is JUST A JOB! it's good, that he isn't that kind of "oh, look at me, i'm a model"-guy, he's just doing his job.

You've missed the point of my comment. He doesn't say it explicitly but it comes across that way. Most models behave with decorum and don't go around complaining about the job that's given them oppurtunities that other jobs wouldn't. By saying outright he hates it he assumes that he'll still be able to get jobs despite his bad attitude, the fact that he didn't walk any shows last season is a testament to the opposite.

I don't mean to insult you, but your posts are very hard to read. I never claimed he didn't walk because of his attitude, I claimed that I can't see it working in his favour. That's all. A big part of modelling is making a name for yourself by getting the right contacts, for example Raqeul Zimmerman (female model) may have a less striking face than others, but has managed to earn numerous campaigns and shows because of her generally friendly and pleasant attitude.
