  • nice tank, what are those red fish?

  • the panda fish are catfish

  • I would love to have a tank like this but I'm college right now so I can only content myself with my female betta Arwen. Love your tank though- jealous!

  • very strange music

  • how much food do u feed ur corys a day, eg. how many sinking wafer/tablets

  • how often did you do a gravel siphon?

    thank you.

  • i have a tropical aquarium too, mine has neon tetras, altum angelfish, silver doller tetras, a male betta fish, guppies and mollies

  • my tropical fish tank has gone completely green for some reason but the fish are surviving in it but i cant figure out whats wrong with it anyone know??

  • @IwanRowlz must be a type of plant/mold called algae. its doesnt do any harm, but i suggest cleaning the tank even though its edible for most fish. so it wouldnt surprise me if they are fine.

  • Nicee :)

  • fake

  • i have two cherry barbs(males) which are the red things that coaster pro couldnt identify and love the tank very nice =)

  • i have two cherry barbs(males) they are a very colorful fish. love the tank =)

  • amazing. I want one of those

  • do i really need to get real plants to make my tropical fish tank look good?

  • @kaleluk31

You dont, look at my fish tank video. However real plants do seem to look better. You can still have a good looking tank with fake ones tho

  • Dude! I luv this setup! could you possibly tell me what fish you have in there? that would be great.

  • I saw Harloquin Rasbs (aka Rasbora Hets), Neon Tetras, Glowlight Tetras, Black Skirt Tetras, Panda Corys, and some red thing I couldn't identify.

  • Lovely tank,

  • Very nice fresh water tank, great plants very healthy. You should be very proud of this tank. Great job.

  • YOUR HARLEQUINS ARE BEAUTIFUL MAN! check out my videos,im only 13 ^^

  • Tank is a lil oovercrowded but not bad choice of fish, clown loaches go well,

  • nice

  • wot r the ones that r long/ thin, orange and have blue eyes(not the neon tetras or rasboras)

  • There are One-Spot Rasboras (Rasbora dorsiocellata)

  • pause at 1:18 it looks like a dead flish floating around

  • чувак у тебя классный аквас

  • leider falscher bodengrund für die pandas

  • I hate to be the smartass here but don't you think its a LITTLE overstocked?

  • beautiful, i love all the colors and the plants :)

  • the corys look good

  • the bass on that music ^^ vibrating 0o

  • nice tank thoe very random music :P

  • thanks!

  • cool but can some body tell me what 1 gallon is in swedish liter?

  • 1 gallon = 4.55 litres

  • No, it´s 3.7854 liters.

  • @Miggzguy "swedish liter"? Now what, they invented their own metric system or what?

  • so nice

  • can clown loaches school with green tiger barbs

  • Soooo pretty!

  • This looks really good for only a 20 gallon

  • I swear they are dancing to the music lol

  • hey i just started a tropical fish tank do i keep the heater on always or do i turn it off

  • You should always keep it on if it has a thermostat. The thermostat will swicht it on and off as needed.

  • @sajeevan1 It stays on 24/7 It turns itself "off" when it gets to the temperature which you have set then it turns back on when it drops below

  • what is that pure red fish? is that real or just one of those fake chemical injected ones?

  • They are male Cherry Barbs, completly natural colouring.

  • beautiful aquarium

  • my corys are not breeding, stop showing off.

  • nice tank but where r the kribs...

  • Beautiful tank =). I recently bought different lighting and my fish looove it. I'm thinking of buying some neons. I have 6 cardinals and plan to buy aobut 4 more. WOuld ten neons be a good amount as well?

  • If youve got 10 cardinals then I wouldnt bother with neons as well as the look almost similar. Try different shoaling fish such as zebra danios, rummy nose tetras or even harlequins.

  • what are those red and black fish? and can they go with discus?

  • they are rasboras, i think emporer rasboras.

  • they are rasboras but not emperors. They are harlequin rasbora or as some label them rasbora het(s).

  • hey mate

have your panda corys breed bcause ive had my planted tank for 5 months and their breeding already

  • can i ask you what filter are you using and how often do uyou do water changes

  • It is an Eheim Ecco external filter. I usually change 10-20% of the water every 10 days or so.

  • very good!!

  • love your tank

  • Don't get a plec it will get trough them plants in days

i have 2 plecs and only have 1 sort of plant

  • do plecs eat plants?

i was hopeing to get a new aquarium soon and try some real plants for the first time so i would really appreciate any knowlage about anything special i'll have to do to keep the plants alive

    thanks

  • sorry for the slow response

you can get plants but they have to be very tough and strong,

i regularly put in cucumber so they do not eat the plants. a little plec will be OK with slightly softer plants but if you are planing to get a large plec very tough plants needed

so if i were you i would get the toughest possible and grow it on some bog wood as the wood helps to keep it strong and attached

  • thanks, much appreciated

  • how do you get your fish to look so good?

  • i am only guessing but he may be using a ultra violet light

    hope this helps :)

  • Why do my Tetras swim back and forth at the back of the tank?

I have a Curved front tank, btw.

  • I have the same tank-style as you from the sound of it. my tetras used to do tht too when first added...its was something they stopped doing with time. Although ensuring you leave open spaces is always a gd thing. tetras enjoy open areas just as much as dense plant cover.

  • what are those plants in there? your tank made my jaw drop!

  • i love this aquarium. great set up. it made me feel great. thanks for sharing this video to us. keep up the good work!

  • nice that you have kept it goin for so many years

  • love the tetras

  • love those neon tetras, their lovely. never had the money to afford a school load.

  • Every non brazilian loves brazilian musics

Thanks to aprecciate a little of brazillian culture

  • looks very nice keep up the good work!

  • How often do you clean that tank?? And are you just using normal gravel or do you put the plants in a special substrate?

  • I heard you dont need any special substrate. i saw a really awesome tank with nothing but gravel.. not even CO2! just search on youtube:

    "Soccer fish tank community"

(make sure you type soccer... it will be the first vid. hope this helps. good luck. i too am planting my tank :D

  • no substrate means the choice of the plants..[Microsorum such as Java Fern, Bolbitis, Anubias] all of them can be attach to rocks or driftwood..

no CO2 means you have to do more water changes..

actually, the real concept of planted tank was "how to create an ecosystem in an aquarium"..

  • nice tank but how do u plant the plants? ok i know stupid question im a starter lol but when u buy them do they come in pots? anyway great setup!

  • cool

  • nice aquarium!! your plants are looking very healthy!! what fertilizer do you use??

  • Does anyone reccomend keeping small lobsters and shrimp in a a tropical tank 5-10cm

  • should be able to keep a couple

  • nice fish.. what's the name of the song playing in the background?

  • Thx! The song is "Underwater Love" by Smoke City

  • You can better use sand for your corydoras.

  • i give u 5/5 such a nice tank better then mines duhh cause i only got 1 fish and that's a catfish i caught it in the stream its freshwater and how do u keep it so clean do u clean it like everyday or something i clean mines once a month lol.

  • very beautiful aquarium! 5 star!

  • they went crazy cuz of the music

  • Hi whats the Bright red fish in there also what fertilizer is used here?

  • smoke city - underwater love

  • beautiful setup and fish, cool music!

  • Yep Agreed. What song is that playing???

  • Very nice :) I have a 20 Gal XH and I had 2 of those Panda Corys, but one died randomly. :(

  • I had an orange algea eater once, and it killed my entire fishtank. It was pretty annoying.

  • This is an amazing setup! well planted

  • i have 2 marble angle fish in mine and 4 clown loaches

  • wow your tank is beautiful I wish mine was as pretty as yours!Your fish look so happy too=)

  • Thx!

  • Gorgeous!

  • Thx!

  • Too many fishes dude... you need 7 fishes per 10 gallons, which looks like your about 20 fishes above to limit.

  • its one inch of adult fish per gallon, but you can overstock if well taken care of, whwich this seems to be and it really helps to have plants. So no, it doesnt seem too overstocked

  • I'm a bit over stocked, but I haven't lost any fish due to illness. I do have a big Eihem external filter which increases the volume of water of the tank.

  • its so good

  • what is that all red one that keeps wizzing by?

  • Those are Cherry Barbs

  • i dotn like neons

  • Good job, it is lovely, beautiful fish too

  • Thx!

  • Great setup, but there are a lot of fish in there for a 20 gallon tank.

  • Lovely tank though, very similar to mine!

  • AMAZING! i LOVE your tank! love it love it love it! all the fish blend together so naturally, also with the tank aquascaping. great job, so beautiful!

  • Thx mate I'm glad you liked it!

  • hay dumass they dont cachtropical fish they breed them

  • NIce colours

  • These are freshwater fish, not marine fish. All these species can be (and are) bred in captivity. Corals are sometimes killed by poisons used to catch marine fish (something no real fishkeeper would ever condone). If you don't know the difference between freshwater and marine fish (and you clearly don't), go and learn about it instead of displaying your ignorance for the world to see.

  • well i dont own any fish, and i cant really see the difference cause there are thousands of speecies of fish, so calm down. But there a lot of people who do get tropical fish and some times even get coral.

  • Tropical fish does not mean marine fish. The two are different. There are fish that live in tropical freshwater.

  • Its SO OVERSTOCKED GOD!

  • Great arrangement of live plants & good community of fish. How many gallon is your tank. How do you clean it. It's so clean.

    Love it.

  • how do you keep your tank so clean?

  • Very natural looking. XLNT!!! Thanks for sharing.

  • Great tank!Love the fish and the plants. Very clean! I myself am setting up a freshwater tank. I cant wait till I get my fish.

  • Excellent tank nice to see good shoals of fish!

  • nice tank, not to sure bout the music though.. the plants r really good!

  • nice tropical aquarium

  • nice.. ur aquarium is cool, clean and green :)

    5 starz

  • cool vid nice music exellent show.Since you got fish and all I'm goin to bodeham wich has a river and all the family can fish in it cool huh :)

  • are the plants real?

  • Thx!

  • hey, nice tank i have a somewhat large catfish and i am having trouble making a cave that is suitable got any tips? He is nocturnal so i need some help a.s.a.p thanks

  • ceramic pots

  • Wow,m8,that awesome,what kinda lights do u have there?

  • Thx.... The lights are two 25 watts fluorecent Arcadia tubes. One Freshwater, the other Tropical.

  • nice male cherry barbs looks like they are in spawning condition o.O

  • And I can never get such effect with my aquarrium :(

  • nice harlies

  • Iv never seen those types of cories before they look so cute when they scramble around on the bottom:)

    what was that red fish?

was that one of those ember tetras?

  • The cories are Panda Cories and the red fish are Cherry Barbs.

  • A nice piece of Wood would top it off man... Some Bubbles and a Proper floor.. 5*..

  • Very nice tank. Love the plants and those harlequins are gorgeous. The male cherry barb is in magnificent color!

  • What is substrate made of? What kind of fertilaztion are using for your plants?

  • Substrate is just rounded gravel. I use a liquid fertilizer with Iron & Potassium once a week.

  • Very lovely. Did all of the plants at one time. I was wonder if plants need to be treated if added to an established tank. Like when adding new fish.

  • Kirkenbunken: where do you see platys? And this tank might be great from an american point of view. To me it looks like a mess.

Natural? do you think that ppl feed the fishes where they come from. Most of the aquarium fishes are 100% natural, so they need real plants, real sand and real feed. Plastic plants, colored gravel and man-made food just doesn't do it.

  • Considering the fact fish breeders don't even have plants in their tanks, I don't think it matters if they have a natual setting. The plants are beautiful. Having live plants is benificial to the fish.

  • it does just fine settle down..

  • do you know how i could get my zebra danios to breed?

  • try buying them a nice dinner

  • lol..

  • Nice tank.

  • Great tank. I suggest the addition of some dwarf African Frogs. I had a tank once with some cory's and african frogs and they bonded and followed each other around. It was funny as hell. I like the tetras and the platys. I really like your use of natural plants and the lush set up of them you have.

  • very nice tank. the only thing: corydoras panda should be kept on sand.

  • Hey, very nice tank you have there. I was just wondering what kind of substrate do you use? Plain gravel or special aquatic plant soil? And also do you add any fertilizer to the tank? Thanks because I really want to set up a tank like yours.

  • would it be possablt 4 u to list how many of each uve got plz as im thinking of replicatin u? cheers asap as im gettin my fish on fri

  • hi i was just wonderin what fish u hav in ur tank and also the size? as they are nice fish and u hav a kwl planted tank

  • Thx....the tank is 36"(90cm)x12"(30cm)x15"(40cm) and about 20 gallons (100L). The fish in there are neon tetras, Harlequin rasboras, panda coridoras, black widow tetras, cherry barbs and a couple of Blue Rams.

  • do the Amano Shrimp and Trumpet & Apple Snails need and special care? if so what? what do you feed them? beautiful aquarium btw

  • Thx! No the apple snail and the amano shrimp don't need any special care. They feed from any left over food from the fish, although 2 or 3 times a week I give them (fish included) a couple of algae waffers which they love.

  • Gorgeous aquarium! Nice arrangements of plants although that sword is going to be a tank buster if it's a true Amazon (Echinodorus amazonicus). And hey with that ground cover in the background don't be surprised if your Panda Cories start to multiply. ;)

  • ARE THOSE NEON TETRAS

  • yes they are

  • 20 gallons, how many liters is that?

  • It's about 100 litres

  • Ok, thanks. Very nice aquarium btw. :)

  • LOL very nice fish and tank i love the camera work there side to side looks great keep it up 4 stars and a smile face :-D ;-p :-Q :-S

  • Thx Yalbit...;0)

  • Are those beautiful broad-leafed plants Anubias? Looks great.

  • Thx! yes the broad-leafed plants in the foreground are Anubias nana...the big one at the back is an Amazon Sword. I'm glad you like the tank and that make you relax! Lol..It has the same effect on me ;0)

  • Beautiful tank!! And I feel more relaxed ALREADY! LOL Thanks for sharing the vid.

  • Nice tank! How many gallons? 40 Fish?? How do you do maintain so many! But really Nice!

  • Thx. It's about 20 British Gallons. As I said many of the fish are quite small in size and I got 2 internal filters which help with the biological load.

  • how many fishes do you have in there?

  • Thanks for all the positive comments. Right now I have around 40 fish in there, although most of them are small Tetras & Rasboras. The biggest fish are a pair of Kribensis. Sharing the aquarium with the fish are some Amano Shrimp and Trumpet & Apple Snails.

  • beutiful tank

  • nice tank
