This has got to be one of the most beautiful songs that one could listen too. I have heard the 1932 version. It was a bit shake to start and like that. This is perfect though. Absolutely superb.
I'm 44 and amit to loving this album! This is a classic. When I was first introduced to this album and artist (18yrs approx - still living at home for definate!). I had this in vinyl and was worped as hell (ex-librarian stock), but it had appeal! Played my modern stuff. Drove some nuts, but ended up with this to cater for the oap's! But now I found it on i-tunes and play it in different light, still fab, but miss the worpe! lol x
@DougNederland - My first 8 playlists have nearly 300 Ray Conniff songs. I flew to Massachusetts last Aug to see his hometown bandstand dedicated in his honor and met his wife and daughter!
You might like my other 425 playlists as well! most play about 2 hours and they include music from Europe and Brasil. You can listen to music from any year back to 1900 as if you've stepped back in time!
Beautiful!!

One of my favourite songs, and I love Ray Conniff.
I remember seeing a "Lucy" show where Lucille Ball slaughtered the song. I never forgave her for that!! Thanks for posting
