@HeroOfWinds007 the thing is that Monster Hunter 3 uses Capcom servers, which don't require any friend codes in order to play with someone. In japan MH3 had a monthly fee, but it looks like that USA and PAL versions won't have that...at least I hope.

For people whodon't know, they removed alot of weaporns because they thought it was just too much, and alot were under used. And, Monster Hunter Tri(3) has a lot of underwater mission and fights, so they thought the bow would be an unlikely weapon for underwater fights. I personally favor the bow, but I loike the choices they have in this game. And don't yell or question me about the weapons, I'm just telling you what I found while looking up the weapons for this game.

Capcom made similar choises regarding the monster count too. Almost all of the old boss monsters are not in this game only Rathalos, Rathian and Diablos. While I am personally happy with this decision I wish Capcom atealst added more monsters into the game as only 18 boss monsters will leave me begging for more.
