This is just a pagefile people, this does not even come close to running as fast as actual RAM. Only if you used an SSD you could reach decent speeds for this, but please do not use a mechanical hard drive's pagefile if you need fast RAM. Get some physical RAM if you need it, it's not like it's expensive these days.
@Windows7Tycoon Nah, look at any basic home computers and the minimum you will find is 2GB...standard. A lot have 4GB standard. The new laptops especially, have 4GB standard RAM.
TehGreenHD it works much better but if u have a crappy wimdows vista laptop i would also recommend using disk cleanup and disk defragmenter (set disk defrag. to a regular basis like once a week). i did that plus a bunch of other stuff and now i can play like minecraft without laggin just a little.

If your physical memory is being used a lot Windows will offload the rest of the unimportant tasks to the Virtual RAM.

@ninjaguysvideos: I'm just letting you know that you RAM capacity is not only limited by the motherboard, but your operating system as well. For example, if you are running Windows XP 32bit Operating System and have a PC maxed out a 8GB of ram the system will only see roughly 3.8GB of ram (automatically removes ram for OS). That's the reason why it might only let you go up to 4096 at one time.
25gb of ram is still useable and shouldnt be all that slow must just be your computer ....if its an acer i suggest you burn it (with fire) acers are absolutely crap

@RoboRandy1 RAM means random memory and depending on your ram is your speed so the lower the ram the slower and the the ram the faster your computer will be
RAM (random access memory) is the temporary memory that your prosser uses to compute whatever programs are running. so yes with smaller ram your processer cant do as much at once and your computer is slower.

RAM (random access memory) is the temporary memory that your prosser uses to compute whatever programs are running. so yes with smaller ram your processer cant do as much at once and your computer is slower.

@5xa but its not enough to have only lots of ram you cpu has to be good enough to take advantage of it^^
