actually, funny you mention that. a little while ago I was helping my girlfriend powerlevel her tailoring and I farmed the crap out of stratholme for runecloth. What I did was I went to the back entrance, aggro'd a whole bunch of the weaker undead that didn't do anything special. [ghouls and abom included] and just AoE'd em down. Usually, you really don't take much damage from them but when you're running to aggro them they can hit you for a lot because you can't block or parry from behind.

If you look up Arkides and check my spec I have a little odd one for a prot warrior. Most warriors go for deep wounds with their extra points, I went for piercing howl. It's completely situational but I found sacrificing a couple of points for it didn't hurt me at all, and it's awesome for AoE farming since I can keep them from hitting me.

very nice and informative, from 1-60 i was fury, then went arms when the patch came out and rerolled to fury at 74 since fury got better with 3.0.3:) going prot when i reach 80 and got full blue :P

Yup. None at all, I've been tanking full Kara runs in my season 2/3 gear.

That's right. You still need 490 defense to keep from getting critted by Burning Crusade raid bosses, but there's no more crushing blows.

I get away without need 490 defense due to resilience. 490 defense [at 70] gets you -5% crit chance from others. My resilience keeps me from being crit by mobs. You might notice a bit of early tanking gear has resilience, it's so you can get to the uncrittable easily. I don't parry/block/dodge as much, no, but I mitigate enough for Kara. Maybe some of ZA. I haven't tried it.

put spike on shield and shield block next time in the 10 sec that evryone's hitting ur shield theyll all be half healf from damage shield and spike then all ull need is just thunderclap and a shockwave and there ya go theyr dead

Yeah I know about the spike trick. I'm a little too cheap to get one but if I ever really need to grind stuff I'd make a felsteel one in an instant.

What's funny is that most of the damage you took was when you turned around and ran back a bit at the start of the pull.
