I really didn't expect to like this book. I have read a few that disparaged Obama and I don't really care for that type of book. But this book is actually very interesting and compelling. I would recommend it.

@wazzupyall37 the "SCIENTISTS" (the full .5% of them) that support your theories have the capacity to make more money than the other 99.5% of the REAL scientific community who don't agree. There are "SCIENTISTS" who are no different than the "DOCTORS" paid by the tobacco industry who willfully lied to govt officials about cancer associated w/ cigarette smoking. The KOCH INDUSTRIES corporate-sponsored "scientists" lack the same scientific integrity as those tobacco drs lacked medical integrity.

Red states blue states those graphs and polls are tools used to manipulate and manufacture the world as they want you to see it. Beware of the Government media complex. I'm not your enemy or the problem, but I bet you sure believe it. They stoke the emotions of the masses to create this transition for our uncertain future or even lack of. They want chaos to bring in this change this New World Order everthing will be centralized. Historically every great civilization comes to an end.

Think about it out of the Big Bang this amazing planet of life and intelligent order over a rediculious number of years. Wow that is faith that would put any religious group to shame. The order out of chaos must be there religion. I just want to see the model that science is supposed replicate this leap. Liberlism? I think this is all they have, except it's easier to establish that it's a mental disorder, than intelligent and healthy order. We really ought to pray for these people.

@wazzupyall37 so AGAIN, I fully support your right to a gun. What ever makes it easier for you to live a life full of irrational fear without doing anything constructive about it the better. The more fake conservatives whose driving force their logic is paranoia the better. the more likely the GOP will become an even bigger laughing stock disappointment than it already is. Just make sure you leave the gun unlocked and lying around so that it can serve it's only useful purpose.

@priorzola Actually a gun's only useful purpose is to protect our freedoms from being taken away by people who think like yourself.People who have been educated beyond their inteligence.Maybe we should ban automobiles as well since they kill even more people than guns.Hell,if I wanted to massacre a large number of people,a car would do a much better job than even an AK-47,so why worry about guns? PS.Guns do a pretty good job putting food on the table as well.

@capleton48 The reason America flourished for the first 200 years and became the greatest empire in world history is because of our Constitution and the teachings of our founders.The reason it has been declining for the past 40 years is because we are deviating away from those teachings and allowing our country to be infiltrated by these new age philosophies.These people want to re-engineer something that wasn't broken so that they can ad themseves into the history books.Pride is their motive.

@Aeros802 just because Texas can create a bunch of low paying jobs (while constantly ending up on the bottom in education and in insuring citizens) and Alaska can garner 3Xs more federal welfare for their citizens than all other states (while paying the 2nd lowest tax rates in the union) doesn't mean they are "fiscally sound". It means their fake conservative politicians have done a good job gaining their otherwise impoverished states lots of PORK but hardly any DECENT PAYING jobs.

@priorzola Texas is suppose to ensure its citizens? The only thing TX has to do for its ppl is PROTECT them from across the border dangers and crime. The ppl of TX don't WANT TO BE ENSURED bY THE STATE. They want to ensure themselves. States that don't allow this often rank at the bottom of self dependency such as NY ( and i live in that state and seen this for myself ).

@Aeros802 Texas doesn't have to do anything. It just have to sit there and reap more and more free federal funds courtesy of their big oil corporate masters. But when it takes that free money and can't be bothered to spend it on it's citizens, then it can't, in turn, hold itself of an example of anything than yet ANOTHER failed neo-con welfare state. What do you corporate welfare Red State clowns do with all that free money. It's surely not used to pay for decent schools, healthcare, or wages.
