  • Mantis guarantees the tines against breaking and cracking. The reason they are not warranted against normal wear is because of the varying types of soil (rocky, sandy, for example) will cause the tines to wear differently. If the tines bend during usage, you can bend them back into place with a pair of pliers. Yes indeed the tillers will break through turf and solid ground. Visit mantis.com to learn more.

  • I know this will be edited but breaking the tine would be almost imposable due to the type of metal used. There is nothing mentioned about weraring the tine out or bending a tine. It will not break it will bend or wear out. Just my 2 cents. I bet it would be OK to till ground that has been tilled or broken in recent years but not for solid ground.

  • cool

  • lol :P

    I live in Tiller ^^

  • i just got my mantis yesterday. these commercials make me nothing less than skeptical but i cant believe how nice the mantis really is. if you have an existing garden that is previously tilled with a bigger tiller, the mantis will do the job from there.

  • Thanks for this
