  • Just fucking epic game!

  • God damn. Mmmeeeeeeemories. Fuck I wish I had this game still. I love trying to hit the cavefish with the 2 x 4 and getting the goggles

  • Malcolm Corley: Ah, your ears are fine. It's what's between 'em that scares me.

  • I don't collect art.... and I also don't collect whatever that is !!!!

    Best comment by far!

  • Great memories for me too

  • Good times...

  • George Lucas got jealous of Tim Schafers magic. Hence no more games like this.

  • Man this takes me back, Totally had this game completely memorized...So Awesome

  • The best game of all time

  • This is the real art of game making.

  • This song will forever be my childhood favorite song. I have a copy of the game. I havnt played it in years can't wait to play it again!

  • Best. Game. Ever. Made.

  • Lucas Arts Really dropped the ball when they canceled this series.

  • This song !!!

  • that video's screaming : FUCKING HEAVY-AWESOME ! :D

  • SOMEONE must wake up and do a movie of this game. It is the work of a genius

  • Most bad ass intro ever made. Period.

  • @frustrationnick to let you know type the name on ebay theres one for win 7 and all the instals for a computer

  • This song was ahead of its time.

  • I still have my copy of Full Throttle on CD. This was one the the best of The Lucas Arts Win95 Collection!

  • Wow I miss this game! :(

  • The CG may be ancient but the camera shot going up the road to the bikers makes for probably the best opening in a video game I've ever seen.

  • Comment removed

  • Probably the only game that made me want a PC that badly during the 90's with the introduction of CD (Didn't actually managed to get this game until 97 though with my first pc).

  • Epicest game ever !

  • Dammit Tim Schafer, why didn't you throw this song into Brutal Legend? I would have been so happy *sniff*

    Best game opening EVER.

  • Their second full-length album, Bone to Pick, was published in 1995. Its songs were chosen by Peter McConnell, music director of the LucasArts team, to be featured as the soundtrack of the new video game they were working on, FULL

THROTTLE. Keith Karloff also helped McConnell to compose some original tracks for the game. Thanks to Full Throttle, Bone to Pick became the most famous and acclaimed album of the band, even gaining considerable attention outside of the United States. (Found in Wiki)

  • GO FULL THROTTLE GAME ITS THE BEST LIKE NEVER!!!

  • man, remember when some soul went into games? remember? do you?

  • @Ratama

I do. They were awesome times. Guess we better start working on that DeLorean, eh, buddy? :)

  • Quanti bei ricordi! So many memories!

  • Cant beat the Corley!

  • This game deserves a re-release in HD 3d ofcourse :P.

Oh wait, no I still have the cd-rom (Y)

  • goddamn that's so awesome when those guys show up behind the limo,Ben hops that car and all followed by the coolest soundtrack. like an adrenaline shot

  • I aint puttin my lips on that

  • lol retro 3d is retro!

  • mega cool!!

  • "Whenever I smell asphalt, I think of Maureen. Thats the last sensation I had before I blacked out: the thick smell of asphalt. And the first thing I saw when I woke up was her face. She said shed fix my bike. Free, no strings attached. I should have known then that things were never that simple. Yeah, when I think of Maureen I think of two things: asphalt... and trouble."

    Best game of all time.

And the gone jackals are excellent and perfect to this game's atmosphere.

  • I'am never tired watching this!!!!

I would buy a remake of this game, OF COURSE!!!!(bad english)

  • Ben:When im on the road, im indestructible, noone can stop...but they try

  • Awesome game!! Lucas arts should make a remake of this game! I would buy it!

  • @Balrog25, Why Remake it? It's still perfect.

  • i would

  • The Gone Jackals, Great ))

  • <3 LucasArt

  • Ben: "you know what would look better on your nose?"

    Bartender: "what?"

    Ben: "The BAR!"

  • "And I thank the Lord each day for the apocalypse"

I love that stupid country song that plays in Todd's trailer.

  • Its called "chitlins whiskey and skirt"

  • @PolShabadu me too! good tune

  • The Show.. "Son's of Anarchy" basically take place of this game...

    Fucking Fantastic Game..

  • Best of the best!

  • the best!!

  • You know id be on right now sir uf it wasnt for my destabilizing inner ear condition AHH your ears are fine its whats between them that scares me

  • Long live Full Throttle!!! Really a masterpiece!!!

  • "Open'up, Todd!"

  • Whenever I smell asphalt, I think of Maureen...

  • Asphault...and trouble...

  • I wonder if anything from Full Throttle will make a cameo in Brutal Legend. Just seeing a Polecats jacket hung up on a wall somewhere would be cool.

  • Why should it? This game and brutal legends have nothing in common. Not even the company that made them :P So I can already tell you now that there ain't gonna be any cameos of ben in that game :P

  • Well they're both creative products of Tim Schaefer, and there is a subtle Grim Fandango reference in Brütal Legend: When you hover over the paint job in the shop that puts an image of skulls and bones onto your car, the Guardian of Metal says, "Oh that's grim" and the description reads, "They won't know it's a company car".

  • Best Biker Game EVER!!! Yeah Ben go Full Throttle :D

  • The only heavy metal biker game ever!

But also the freakin best, no one threw a fit when you used a two-by-four with nails to beat the ever livin sh&* out someone.

  • BEST INTRO EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

jajajja man i always played this game when i was a little shit and every time i start the game i listen to the entire song!

  • Possibly the best opening to any game, ever.

  • Oh wow thanks for uploading! This game is a piece of art!

  • Holy hell, this takes me back! I should buy and old piece of crap computer and play this game once more.. !

  • Why not simply use ScummVM?

No need for an old computer with that. =)

  • If I ever get the money, I'm making a replica of that bike.

  • This game rocked and still does! Brings back so much memories. The graphics were amazing and the music.. oh my

  • This was one of my favorite games back then. Kick ass

  • just got this thing back running on osx! ScummVM is awesome!

  • Holy s* !!! Full Throttle !!! I was like 7 !! omg =O

"amazing soundtrack and stunning graphics" +1 000, I'll add 'excellent story and perfect immersion'.

Best Heavy Metal & bikers game ever.

Will Brütal Legend be nearly as awesome as Full Throttle ? wait & see

  • I replayed this game just a while ago, good times... i use to exchange this game cd for other pc games in highschool back in the day, amazing soundtrack and stunning graphics for that time.

  • Saudades do tempo em que eu era feliz, e não sabia...tragam os anos 90 de volta!

Miss the time when I was happy and didn't know ... bring the 90s back!

  • I didn't even have to use dosbox to play this game on XP, I just clicked setup in it''s exe files and it booted just fine.

  • Awesome intro, Awesome game.

  • i play it, when i was 9... on a mac os... with my dad and my sister :D

    love it :D

  • i just finished the game, maybe a minute ago!!!!

    for the 98th time^^

    AND IT IS STILL ROCKING!!!

  • How did you record this?

I tried it with fraps but that didn't work...

  • I was running it through DOSBox, it has built in video recording.

  • @vagabond1592 Wow, I've been enjoying DOSBox lately, and I didn't even know it had built in video record! That's so awesome! Running the game through ScummVM right now myself, because I ended up with a Windows version, and I'm in Ubuntu... ScummVM is more stable than Ubuntu's Windows emulation... :)

  • @niceguy169 I also use ScummVM on linux, although I think they do have DOSBox for linux I have never tried it, I just assumed that ScummVM would be easier since running windows programs with things like WINE are very hit or miss

  • @vagabond1592 Yeah, there's DOSBox for Linux too, no Wine involved. :) Since writing my last comment I looked into it, and DOSBox for Linux supports that stuff too. It's just that my Full Throttle was apparently rebuilt for Windows, so for me it was either Wine or ScummVM, I chose ScummVM.

  • @vagabond1592 I have the orginal full Throttle on CD , but do you know how to run it in DOSBOX?

  • @vladimirovitsj Use 'Basic Setup and Installation' page on the DOSBox wiki, it should have everything that you need, just instead of moving the game files in to c:\oldgames you need to also mount your disk drive (most old games require the disk drive to be the D drive). Then switch to the disk drive by typing D: , there should be a file named INSTALL.EXE, just run that by typing install and that will bring up the games installer.

  • @vladimirovitsj

I'm sure ScummVM will be far more comfortable for you.

  • @Mrster I managed to play it already ;)

I just bought it at a market in town , working fully :)

  • @vladimirovitsj

    Lucky you.;)

  • POLECATS BABY!

  • This is truly a great game!

does anyone know the songs name when Ben is riding a bike?

  • "This is the opening credits to the game Full Throttle. The song is Legacy by the Gone Jackals."

Next time, perhaps you should read the description before asking question? ;)

  • not that song, play the game and listen that music yourself, but i already know what song that was, it was ,'born bad', by the gone jackals.

  • i am a huge gamer these days put when i was younger i remember playing this with my dad still one of my favorite games of all time awesome game i have the version on my laptop but it does not work as well as i want it to and that is true takes so long to beat it at first then some one can beat in an hour once they know waht to do

  • this is the best game EVER

  • Ripburger... you're dumber than dirt!!!

  • best game ever baby! hilarious too

  • This game was the definition of fucking awesome, and it was the soundtrack that helped to make it so...

Yo mama's face is dripping into the dirt.

  • Why can't we have more games like this? It seems like there is no more originality in games, everything is FPS and shooting. I think that gamers are closed minded these days and only care about their halo and what not.

  • Awesome

    Memories are coming back...

  • I love this song. And the game is like one of the best ever made

  • true that

  • @Empotni I had hope that they'd make a sequel to this game someday =/

  • I still own a copy and i'm playing through it again.

  • hey, how do you run the game smoothly? I've tried using VDMS and dosbox, but none of them work right. I miss those old games.

  • Try Scumm, will be fine, run fine, becouse dont emulate dos instead using the game files to run the game in Windows enviroment. Works with all Lucas Arts game far as I know

  • man, I used to play this game for hours and hours! thanks for posting!

  • I just love this game, i plaeyed it as i was 7 years old...ben you are the best;)

  • ya man...i love how it takes around 120 hours first play through, but u can ge it done in about 1 hour when u get it down!

  • You can play this on win XP using scummVM.

  • you can't actually download the game you can only get it if you get it on Amazon unfortunately it doesn't work on Windows XP nor Windows Vista you'd have to get Virtual pc and have Windows 98 to run it as Windows Vista does not support Dos games

  • THE most badass game EVER created by man.

  • I have this game too...the dos-version...now, I've installed it again (dosbox rulz). Brilliant game, the only bad thing is the length, but the story, the "biker feeling", the soundtracks are unmatched. Why didn't do a movie about that...

  • Ben is a legend. Badass on a DukeNukem level

  • lucas art used to make such good games. now all they make is star wars shooter game.

  • Perfect match of song and game.

  • omg Love this game, done it 10000 times and can do it over and over again ;p

  • Still one of the best game openings ever.

  • where can i download this game??

  • Where is Tim Schafer now??? This and Grim Fandango were absolute gems--the game boxes should be hung in the MET!!

  • This game is easier than MI 1,2,3,4... (Monkey island, lol)... just my opinion xD

  • Nah, monkey island 1 and 2 are too easy

I prefer The Dig than Full Throttle, but like both

  • gone jackals rock!

  • anyone knows the music's name and band?

  • Band: Gone Jackals

    Song: Legacy

  • I love the gone jackals

    i love this game

    :D:D

  • I remember playing this game back in the day, 95, and this is what got me into harleys.. damn i miss the mid 90's

  • GREAT Trailer. GREAT game. Figure out those / that junkyard dogs.

  • can some1 help me out??can it ran at the windowsXP enviroment??

  • I was able to run it on both of my computers, but my friend was not able to. The sure fire way to run it is with the program SCUMMVM.

  • @vagabond1592

I ran it without any additional program on XP sp3.

  • Yep, there's a program designed specially to play lucas arts' old games: "Scumm" is the name

  • Excelente juego y tambien una excelente banda de sonido!!!

  • This was the best oldies game ever made teh CD is stil burning from playing very good 5 stars

  • Very good game oldies :D

  • the sequal really, reaelly sucked

    it was for the best

  • why the hell did they ever discontinue the sequal to this epic game -.- tried twice, stopped twice... WHY?!

im convinced that if they pushed on they'd have a shitload of fans that'd pick up a copy. i sure would

  • loved the WHISKEY AND SKIRT song

  • Thanx for reply jyrque, and hanx for the info, I saw few on ebay, so mayby I will buy one in original package=) by the way I did not tell that few years ago my band write a song tribute to this game, mayby you will hear it one day:) FULL THROTTLE RULES:)

  • Anybody know how to get the game? I played it and love it, but do not have now, so if somebody can help me I would be greatful btw. great song and soundtrack of The Gone Jackals=)

  • Can't give you a straight link because that would probably be against the rules, but I guess you could download it from somewhere. There's TORRENTS of downloadable, old video games around there, wink.

  • Just buy it, its only $15 on Amazon or eBay. Unless you already got it...

  • I hope the motorbikes have exhausts like that in the future... 8 of them! HAHAHA

  • best game ever.......great music ;)

  • "I'm not putting my lips on that"

  • LONG LIVE THE POLECATS!

  • really the best thing lucasart has done and they did have some good gems in the past but once as videogames just became marketing techiques they died as the rest of the gaming ideas died.

  • Kickass game and a kickass song!

  • Holy God!!!! Thank you so much! I recently found my cd-rom copy of the game and I set it up on my computer. Oh it brings back the memories. Ride on Pole Cats!

  • I beat this game in 1 hour, its the best game ever, Songs are good to, NICE MAN, GFX are good to
