I've tried really hard to be fair, but I don't understand why people think Terry Bozzio is a good drummer.  I don't like to be negative and trash people with talent, but I can't find anything about his skills or playing style that is above average. He just plays that silly 100-piece drum kit and acts like he knows what he's doing. And he's always stealing time on the Drum Channel, probably because he's not wanted elsewhere.

@cbr1000drummer I won't bother explaining many things that went over your head but look up Terry Bozzio Samba Ousado, then check that video and the related videos of that concert. Still think there's nothing above average? Not only that but Bozzio has played with a shitload of bands and musicians, Frank Zappa being amongst them, and I don't think you can ever call any drummer who has worked with Zappa bad.

His independence is out of this world and he can play some incredibly difficult beats, polyrythms and blastbeats suited for the occassion. He's easily one of the world's best drummers so you might wanna go check out some more of his videos before jumping to conclusions.

Thomas lang is a great drummer, but in no way is he better than Terry Bozzio. Once again, he's just different. Both are great in their own ways. When a person talks about a drummer being better than another they're usually ignorant, stupid, and immature. This is why drummers get the stupid label all the time, and aren't taken seriously. Grow up dude, and know what the hell you're talking about before you make such an ignorant comment.
