  • "up to 10 times as detailed as a normal tv image" math fail.

1080p isnt 10 times as much as 420p.

btw, the 360 has full 1080p HD too.

xbox 360 is much older and already has hd.

    ps3 lags 2 years behind.

  • ur a fool 360 does 1080i and 720p max

  • Nope, it can output 1080p as long as the tv supports 1080p too (no shit?). Its just that most games are 720p natively, but that goes for the ps3 aswell. Both consoles have 720p (1280x720) resolution in games, but they are upscaled to 1080p.

  • nice ps3 ftw

  • This is such a misconception or even lying by saying blu-ray can make graphics better. It can store more pixels AKA models and textures but it means nothing about displaying them all at once apart from longer loading times and stuttering because of the lack of RAM and poor GPU the PS3 has.

Sure it can hold more HD videos but HD DVD had more than enough space for a movie.

Awesome console if it wasn't for this bullshit marketing, they did it with Cell too; forced it in so we had to buy it.

  • Not to mention the fact that developers can't possibly dedicate the time and money to making these ultra-high-resolution models and effects. Using Blu-ray is like using a jumbo jet to carry a sack of potatoes.

  • also, developers have to dedicate much more money and working time when making games and movies for blu ray. This is why many movies and games have been cancelled for the ps3.

  • Hell yeah. PS3 kicks ass.

  • Hell yeah!
