I suggest that should be Ridley Scott (or, someone british with a similar filmography or profile), because he is expert so much in action movies, as in stories with unimaginable characters and actors, and also, he films in places with people or ethnic groups related to his movies.

Previously, sequence after sequence in a old Bond movie was monotonous in the sense that it tells you the whole history (a new adventure of James Bond all the time). Nevertheless, if in the Bond 23, there appears in the opening sequence a scene that will happen more ahead in the movie it will hook you more I also like to put Mr White in the opening sequence with James Bond (I mean after all, how many initial sequences they do not begin this way?)

*Another detail that would be good for the Bond 23 is that there would be a flashback in the opening sequence (after the sequence of the gunbarrel) in that James Bond faces a dilemma that leads to the death of any of the involved character (Another big challenge for 007). The main problem of the opening sequences of Bond films (without despite those that are well elaborated) is that they do not hook the spectator.

*There is a relation between Camille and Bond that still has not been solved (I believe that a meeting in New York comes well to Bond during his mission). Bond has to find this last pleasure that abounds in his head as find the friendship of his new friends who should help him against the justice and the counterespionage: What do you think? And perhaps the Bond 23 will have a small air of From Russia with love it would like.

*I suggest the villain should be a woman, or better still, the Mr. Whites wife that is employed at Quantum, and of Polish nationality (doing a brief reference to Blofeld, without using him completely; even she might be accompanied by a cat). I keep on thinking that Daniel Craig is the ideal James Bond both for the dialogue and for the action. Its necessary to mention that Quantum of Solace is a well structured vision of the spy world that indicates us how James Bond adapts himself from a raw spy who still distinguishes discreetly what is good and what is bad to the super spy that we know now (according to the old James Bond movies).

I saw this movie. Its brilliant. Please give it an opportunity, only you dont hope to see anything similar to Casino Royale (although both stories are related in key scenes). Nevertheless, the action is very good and interesting (a movie of action that wakes up and suppresses your most secret emotions... at least those of James Bond). The performances are interesting. Olga Kurylenko is the sexiest and smartest Bond Girl of the XXIst century.
Wasnt as good as Casino Royale, but it was still good. Cant wait to see what they have in store for the next one hopefully its something new that doesnt carry on from Casino or QoS.
I loved Casino Royale. I eagerly anticipated QoS (those at work will know how many times I played the HD trailer) I was disappointed and I had to see it twice to make sure. The trailer has more emotion and drama than the whole movie put together!
i totally agree..the music to this trailer is also better than anything in the film...still never hear the bond theme when he does bond like stuff...its just like watchin any other action movie...but when you hear 007 theme it just feels different...better
Qauntum of solace isn't great like casino royale is but unlike other movies they didn't failed making second part usually ruins the classic but filming crew did a great job...

i love daniel craig he is awesome and casino royale was fantastic i watched it at least 5 times he fits the role very well smooth/slick/smart/hot/strong

seems like drunkaquaman has actually seen a james bond in person lol hahaha. there have always been different bonds, ur probably just used to Mr. Pierce Brosnan, i happen to like the new guy :]
I only hope it doesn't become another lame action film where he is constantly being shot at and never hit. Casino Royal was the best james bond ever. I cant wait to see how they do on this one
Daniel Craig is my new fav Bond, and he shows no sign in losing that title in this trailer which looks like it could surpass the incredibe "Casino Royale". Very excited for this film. Great Trailer.
It looks better than CR, the second half of which was totally naff. J Dench`s lines sound a bit silly..."motivated by inconsolable rage"-he`s a bloody part-time murderer for f sake!
To NobodyTossesADwarf (Good name, btw :>) Surley when Fleming wrote Casino Royale in '53 the character was already aged 25 to 35... making Bond 78 to 88 now (Though I don't think the franchise would work well with an 88 year old Bond, so I'd rather have the anachronism - or Sean Connery back???)
personally i thought Pierce was the second best actually, i cant rly say much on this bond, not until he has made a few more bond movies then i will judge
yea i like sean he was a legend but i know everyone is gonna hate me for this but i actually quite liked roger moore lol, i thought he brought saracasm and general comedy into bond to make it that little bit more fun to watch. I am probs gonna regret riting this comment something is telling me haha
actually i feel the same, i liked roger moore a lot also... i don't know, but this bond's stories are very different. His actions are very much motivated by personal stuff, i dont know yet if i like it...
well i liked roger moore when i was a kid ... but when i grew up and watched em again i realised connery was the mfking man. would be nice to see his opinions on craig
I think people have looked past the hype. The fact that casino royale did so well (0.5 billion worldwide) plus Craig receiving positive critiques around the board have convinced even this diehard Bond fan (I initially thought he was a poor choice) believes that Daniel Craig is a legitimate Bond - a darker, more gritty, and real role. I think his "short, blonde, and rough" features are exactly what the role dictates. It's a cruel world out there; I'm just waiting for when he kills some Al Qaeda.
I feel sorry for you...well...not really, not even a little bit, not even at all!! You are fool asiandiversian(!) and I hope you get certain flashbacks when you are facing the concequences of your foolishness!!
Matter of opinion isn't it. I actually think Brosnan and Moore (despite their great acting skills as Bond) were over the top with the suave, more than the books dictate. And let's remember the books only isnpire the movies, they are not taken word for word, so appearance isn't everything. His rough face makes it more realisitc considering he is a double 0!
So you call him short, I bet you make fun of women and black people for their physical features too. I bet if Daniel Craig heard you talking like you do, he's knock your pussy teeth out for spewing rubbish from your ignorant stinkhole. God what a loser.
I think that you'll find that if you go back and read casino royale or dr no or live and let die and even devil may care this grittier bond is who ian fleming wanted him to be...read any of the novels and you'll soon notice that he isn't just the womanising gadget toting spy that he has been protrayed as in previous films. You'd be surprised at how violent it all is
ShadowAMV, in answer to your question, Hancock does open Wednesday the 2nd, but there are advance showings pretty much everywhere tomorrow night and I'm going to one of them.
No shit. It's still pretty obvious that the character was heavily influenced after The Bourne series reinvented the spy movie. The difference between Die Another Day and Casino Royale is expansive, and not giving any credit to the Bourne series for that leap is dishonest.
I know Ian Fleming wrote the original James Bond books jackass, that's not the point of what I posted. I'm talking about how the Bond films have changed in style and execution since the Bourne movies came out. If you can't see the influence it's because your head is too far up your ass.
"The Bourne Idendity" only made $214 million worldwide. And "The Bourne Supremacy" made $288 million worldwide. None of the Bourne-movie had the success that the Bond movies had. So EON didn't go back to the Fleming-Style because of Bourne.
But because they achived the rights to "Casino Royale" only in the year 2000. And they needed a new actor to film this novel. And by the way: "Casino Royale" is nothing like Bourne.
Box office is not the issue. If it was, they would have kept Brosnan, and kept making movies like DAD (the most successful Bond movie before CR). Why would they suddenly switch to the grittier, more realistic style, when the other way was still working? Because Bourne inspired them to think about things differently. It's not a knock against 007's producers to say they can learn from the success of others. Good for them, they're good movies. Give credit where it's due.
You have a James Bond drinking Martinis, driving an Aston Martin, going to Casinos, wearing a tuxedo, making love to the girl etc.
And you have old-shool cinematography, sunny locations like the Bahamas.
"Casino Royale" is not that much different from other Bond movies as some people claim it to be.
I like the Bourne-movies. And DAD is the worst 007 flick of all time. They knew it and they changed it. But they would have done that, too, if the was no Bourne around.
Possibly. Frank Marshall (producer for the Bourne films) disagrees in interviews on the subject. I'm not saying they ripped off Bourne Identity, or that they are exactly the same. Bond is still Bond. But the 007 people definitely took notes from Bourne as far as the action scenes go.
At least we can both agree that Die Another Day was awful, so there's common ground there.
Okay. Scenes like the fight on the staircase are much more gritty than in previous Bondfilms. But when you look back to Connery, you will see Bourne-like-fights in FRWL (with Red Grant) or DAF (in the elevator). Or Dalton against Benicio Del Toro in LTK.
So I would say: it's not the first time that Bond is grounded and realistic like Bourne.
i think u just fkked urself. Remember, the name's Bond for a reason! Sweat it babe!

It looks better than CR, the second half of which was totally naff. J Dench`s lines sound a bit silly..."motivated by inconsolable rage"-he`s a bloody part-time murderer for f sake!

55
Fleming wrote Casino Royale in '53 and Dr No came out in 1962
NobodyTossesADwarf91 3 years ago
To NobodyTossesADwarf (Good name, btw :>) Surley when Fleming wrote Casino Royale in '53 the character was already aged 25 to 35... making Bond 78 to 88 now (Though I don't think the franchise would work well with an 88 year old Bond, so I'd rather have the anachronism - or Sean Connery back???)
sirrealdan 3 years ago
I'd like to see Sean back... that would be interesting :]
But Bond has only had the identity of being a spy for 55 years - that was what I meant.

yea i like sean he was a legend but i know everyone is gonna hate me for this but i actually quite liked roger moore lol, i thought he brought saracasm and general comedy into bond to make it that little bit more fun to watch. I am probs gonna regret riting this comment something is telling me haha
LedACDCFloyd 3 years ago
actually i feel the same, i liked roger moore a lot also... i don't know, but this bond's stories are very different. His actions are very much motivated by personal stuff, i dont know yet if i like it...

Take a look past the hype to find out who actor
Daniel Craig really is. How can a short, blond
actor with the rough face of a professional
boxer and a penchant for playing killers, cranks,
cads and gigolos pull off the role of a tall, dark,
handsome and suave secret agent? Take a
photo-visual journey with us as we explore just
how badly cast Craig is as Bond, and what he
should really be doing as an actor with his looks!
9mariotoledo 3 years ago
I think people have looked past the hype. The fact that casino royale did so well (0.5 billion worldwide) plus Craig receiving positive critiques around the board have convinced even this diehard Bond fan (I initially thought he was a poor choice) believes that Daniel Craig is a legitimate Bond - a darker, more gritty, and real role. I think his "short, blonde, and rough" features are exactly what the role dictates. It's a cruel world out there; I'm just waiting for when he kills some Al Qaeda.
asiandiversion 3 years ago
I feel sorry for you...well...not really, not even a little bit, not even at all!! You are fool asiandiversian(!) and I hope you get certain flashbacks when you are facing the concequences of your foolishness!!
ohashif 3 years ago
i take it you're not a daniel craig fan then?
brandnewyork48 3 years ago
Matter of opinion isn't it. I actually think Brosnan and Moore (despite their great acting skills as Bond) were over the top with the suave, more than the books dictate. And let's remember the books only isnpire the movies, they are not taken word for word, so appearance isn't everything. His rough face makes it more realisitc considering he is a double 0!
d89gr 3 years ago
So you call him short, I bet you make fun of women and black people for their physical features too. I bet if Daniel Craig heard you talking like you do, he's knock your pussy teeth out for spewing rubbish from your ignorant stinkhole. God what a loser.

Bourne > Bond... end of story
syktup 3 years ago
I think that you'll find that if you go back and read casino royale or dr no or live and let die and even devil may care this grittier bond is who ian fleming wanted him to be...read any of the novels and you'll soon notice that he isn't just the womanising gadget toting spy that he has been protrayed as in previous films. You'd be surprised at how violent it all is

Except Bond was around 40 years before the stupid Borne movie
missjewelrydesigner 3 years ago
Bourne movie's arn't stupid. They might not be as good as Bond movies, but that doesn't mean they are stupid. They are good films.
ShadowAMV 3 years ago 3
No shit. It's still pretty obvious that the character was heavily influenced after The Bourne series reinvented the spy movie. The difference between Die Another Day and Casino Royale is expansive, and not giving any credit to the Bourne series for that leap is dishonest.
ProudAnselmo 3 years ago
It's going back to Ian Fleming, not to Bourne.
The character is just as Fleming wrote him. No Bourne influence.
Invincible1958 3 years ago
I know Ian Fleming wrote the original James Bond books jackass, that's not the point of what I posted. I'm talking about how the Bond films have changed in style and execution since the Bourne movies came out. If you can't see the influence it's because your head is too far up your ass.
ProudAnselmo 3 years ago
Just remember:
"Die Another Day" made $432 million worldwide.
Invincible1958 3 years ago
Box office is not the issue. If it was, they would have kept Brosnan, and kept making movies like DAD (the most successful Bond movie before CR). Why would they suddenly switch to the grittier, more realistic style, when the other way was still working? Because Bourne inspired them to think about things differently. It's not a knock against 007's producers to say they can learn from the success of others. Good for them, they're good movies. Give credit where it's due.
ProudAnselmo 3 years ago
You have a James Bond drinking Martinis, driving an Aston Martin, going to Casinos, wearing a tuxedo, making love to the girl etc.
And you have old-shool cinematography, sunny locations like the Bahamas.
"Casino Royale" is not that much different from other Bond movies as some people claim it to be.
I like the Bourne-movies. And DAD is the worst 007 flick of all time. They knew it and they changed it. But they would have done that, too, if the was no Bourne around.
Invincible1958 3 years ago
ProudAnselmo 3 years ago
Invincible1958 3 years ago
Yes sounds intriguing to say the least, great observation, never thought of that.
