i really don't understand the point of this, theres still the fact he hasn't played a game for a reasonable length for over a year. I appreciate the fact that he is extremely talented when he is fit and he was our saving grace when he played against croatia in our dismal euro 2008 qualifier campaign. But he cannot seriously believe that he still has career, I feel sorry for any club who is willing to pay for his wages because they will certainly not get any value for money.

Owen Hargreaves is a truly great man, footballer and professional.

For anyone to even want to try and come back after what he went through is more than admirable.

When we released Owen, I was beyond gutted because I always believed he would return and I never stopped supporting him.

He even made it back to the pitch on two seperate ocassions, which is a great achievement considering how he once was.
