@reptilesforlife40 I did not follow the P90X diet plan. I really didn't need to lose much weight, just some belly fat. I was watching what I ate though.
@reptilesforlife40 The last round (#5) I did was in '09. I still run everyday but have not worked out since then. I really love this program. Some people, like my wife, like to go to the gym but working out to a dvd program works for me. I enjoyed P90X very much and will definitely be going for round 6.
Great job well done, you can see amazing changes in posture on the side profile from Day 1 to Day 90 - big difference! Now....all i have to do is get out from behind my office desk and commit to a regular regime like p90x...thanks for an inspiring video.
This is an excellent program! I just recently finished my first 90 days, and I just started my second round of 90 days yesterday, Sunday.
Check out my page for my first round transformation video. I am more than happy to answer any questions, give helpful tips, and advice to help maximize your results.
SUBSCRIBE to my page as I plan on posting many vLog videos and instructional workout videos through out my next 90 days!
@cheffanxx I really dont think its photoshop, it is real look at the bottom of the door too, its all pixelated, the camera probably needs some p90x training too lol it has a low resolution..
Im startin this program soon myself just waitin for it to come in the mail, lol!!! Im hopin I ca build muscle with it I'm one of the skinniest dudes you will ever see.
@mikemalone15 that is great for your body, always train like that, never listen to your body, just train like that for 90 days and then you can train some more
i repeat dont listen to your body, just train the hardest you can
fuck health and all that shit, health is so overrated
I cant wait to complete my 90 days! I'm commencing my third week and already seeing a bit of results:D So until then, I'm just gonna continue pushing play!
*You look good by the way. I guess its a bit of work, but its well worth the effort...
I am not an expert about this, but this is what I recommend you do. Continue with the pushups, pullups, and situps. Use dumbbell free weights for bicep curls and other exercises (google to get some good exercises). Also, within an hour after each exercise you want to drink a "recovery drink mix" consisting of 100% whey protein and one serving of creatine with milk. This, in my opinion, will definitely help with building your muscles... Good luck....
Also, I forgot to mention, eat a banana with the recovery drink. This will give you a good 3 to 1 ratio of carbs to protein which is ideal after a hard workout.
But i orderd P90X and it says Day one ** gave me the workout** and then day 2** another workout**... etc... i was wondering for each workout everyday.. do i do that workout once a day? or 2wice?
You will get instructions with the program. Do the classic routine which consists of doing one workout per day. You can download a progress tracker but you need ms excel or openoffice. I can't post the email so I will email to you.
Follow the DOUBLES routine that came with the program. There are 3 different routines: LEAN, CLASSIC, AND DOUBLES... Lean is the easiest then classic and doubles is the hardest (2 workouts per day)... Good luck............
I'm 16 and was really fat when i was 14. So i've been working out . when i started i couldn't do a pull up or push up. Now i can do one arm pull ups also i can do clap push ups. This is over two years improvement but what other exercises should i do as well as sit ups, pull ups, push ups because I want to become good to look at with muscle but your body changes better to certain excercises. So whats the best exercises.
The bottom line is this: All programs work - It's up to you to "Bring It".... The success of P90X depends on your efforts, not the program itself. Good Luck.......
I'm planning on doing p90x in the new year, but until I begin, what sort of excersises would you recommend I do to prepare for P90x (note, I am very weak lol).
I don't follow the P90X meal program. I just try to eat sensible by eating foods with no fat or low fat. Some examples are skim milk, low fat cheese, and turkey burgers/dogs. I am not a perfect eater but running 2.5 miles a everyday helps burn any extra fat intake.
Everyone is different so I can't say how long it will take but just start out slow the first week and do what you can do and work your way up over time. I would also add pull ups. Overtime you will like them more as you become stronger and can do more. Good luck...
This 1st round I started at about 168 and ended at about 150. The second round (other video) I did not gain or lose any weight but I am sure that I gained muscle and lost fat. In round 3 I hope to gain 5 to 10 pounds of muscle weight.
Hmm.. how tall are you? I'm 6'1 160 atm and you look bigger than me at 150. Also, is this a good program to bulk up with? or is this mainly a leaning out/fat loss program? I want to add size and I'm not worried about fat at all because my metabolism is lightning fast.
I am just under 6 feet tall. Most everyone guesses my weight at about 170 not 150. But my weight consistently stays at around 150 to 155lbs. With the right diet, you will bulk up with this program. There is a lot of weight lifting, pushups, and pullups. If you heavy up the weights and do less reps, you will build and bulk up. I just don't eat enough to gain major muscle mass (I guess).... I promise you won't be disappointed with this program.... Good luck....
good job man. you really did change. especially the abs and waist-sooo evident with the shots from the back. excellent work.keep it up, eat well, be well.
did you do the diet

what lbs dums did you go with for the program?

I use adjustable 25lb. weights (Gold's Gym not Bowflex) for most exercises and 40lb. dumbells for back exercises.
