I have a staffy and her name is Nelly and she is the most loyal, amazing and intelligent dog i have ever had in my life. I cant imagine my life without her she was the first staff anybody in my family had and now thanks to her almost everyone in my family have given staffy a great home all because of her. And she changing peoples perceptions of the breed on a daily basis :) It just pisses me off when people pick there dogs up and turn and walk the other when she wouldnt harm a fly..
@YouToobWatcher3 the way people deal with what they consider to be lesser is the same as how they deal with larger things. it is entirely comparable. dogs that show aggression have been removed from 'decent society" for years, creating breeds that are gentle enough to be with children but brave enough to defend them from bears or bulls. these dogs became the symbols of America. the American Pitt bull terrier. aggression problems come form newer breeds like the Golden retriever.

Dogs can't be compared to a race of people. Dogs are breeds and are considered property. When they are bad like the pit bull is then they need to be eliminated from decent society.

i am 32, got a 5 year old stffie, called Quake, truelly adorable, a member of the family, where i go, he goes, ignoramous strangers, dont even register when he and i are walking, ego, plays no part, though he can be tempromental around other dogs, he would rather die than hurt a another human being. Staffies are the most loyal and courageous breed. These dogs love humans more than life. Thats why they are terrible guard dogs! lol. Our staffy is 3 and she has enriched our lives so much. We now have her son too, and I couldnt imagine life without them! Excellent video and phenomenal tool to get the message out there that THERE ARE NO BAD BREEDS...JUST BAD OWNERS! Good job!!

i have a staffy, she is great, its not to do with the dog, no such thing on this planet as a bad dog, but there is such thing on this planet as a bad owner, if they bring their dog up to fight etc... then thats what they'll do, if they bite its usually because someone has wound them up, kids that get bitten probably get bitten because they don't understand and they do stuff to make the dog turn. sometimes the dog may do it for no appaent reason, but usually there is a reason for EVERYTHING

Just a few days ago my staffie was attacked by a old labrador, opening up my staffies back resulting him to have his back stiched up, He didnt respond to the bite or yelp or get aggresive, i phoned the police to report it, as soon as i told them it was a staffie attacked, they wasnt intrested, check him out on my name, great vid though, they are the best dogs in the world!!
When a Labrador or King Charles Spaniel bites someone, it's lucky that it will make the side news, but when a Staffy bites someone, shock, horror tabloids saying dogs of death. You should send this to one of those Paper's, it won't make difference but it might just change someones perpective of things.
my family have had staffys all my life and when i was a baby now 25 our then dog god rest him flyn would gard me whan i was sleeping and would only leve my side when i woke up my mum told me that she could leve me with him and never had to worry

I lost my Staffy X yesterday on the vet table. They did all that they could, but it was her time to go. I held her and felt the spirit exit her body as she died in my arms. This movie is beauitful, thank you for posting.

I commented on your 1st video and this one is just as amazing ! I can't believe that they are considering banning this wonderful breed. As I said before, I have two now and have only ever owned staffies. They are described as "the nursemaid" because of their fantastic nature and how good they are with kids. Why can't people see that it's the irresponsible owners that should be punished and not the animals ? I couldn't be without my two babies, they are my world and I love them :)
Wow I had a tear in my eye watching this. Im in New Zealand and most bull terriers have a bad name here. I find it hard when parents don't teach children respect for animals. I walk my wee staff round town and parents pull their kids away and wisper thats not a friendly dog. What would they know!? Great video! we recently brought a now 11 week english staffy x american staffy & she great! its not just staffy's that alot of people categorize as being vicious wen they aren't. i was brought up with pitbulls & rottweilers & not once was i ever bitten. i have been attacked five times and all of them being small dogs. im sick & tired of people complainin about these types of dogs. i owners that teach there dogs to fight. at the end of the day they should be the ones being put down!!!
i had a bad opinion of these dogs and even at work now i hear people call say they are the type of dog junkie's have. But my sister has one now and i completely have fallen in love with staffie's.

i had a staffy once. most beautiful, loving, caring creature out there. the only thing that could never get mad at you, and you could never get mad at them. :). if your day was bringing you down, just seeing that face smiling at you would bring it all back up again. sadly, i had to get rid of her, because of all the jackasses that made the breed illegal in my area. i will never own such a perfect breed of dog again(period)

I've had this breed most of my life. I am 54 years old. My Father had them before me & so has my Sister. I am the youngest of a family of 8 & I have brought up 3 children with Staffords. I have never been bitten by a Staffordshire, but have been bitten by other dogs, including my Brothers Retriever & his mates Collie. NO DOG SHOULD BE LEFT WITH A SMALL CHILD--THEY ARE DOGS & CHILDREN CANNOT BE PACK LEADER AT A YOUNG AGE! Any child maimed or killed by any dog is a disgrace--the owners fault

Also if the dog is viscious out on walks &in public they should muzzle them, our GSD is very ill and tempramental with other dogs n people at the mo so guess what as responsible owners we muzzle him. do you get that its all about controling and knowing your dog not oh ill have a jr as they got tiny mouths cant do as much damage but still can do damage.
Here is the deal: ANY dog can get old, sick, diseased, whatever, then a good dog becomes a "bad dog", even though it is not the dog's fault. The question then is very simple: do you want to own a dog with a huge "honkin" bite apparatus, or a normal bite? Breeding a bull dog with a terrier (to get the killer instinct of a terrier with the jaws of a bulldog) does NOT make it the dog's fault---but it is crazy to DESIRE this "good" dog.

I am the prou owner of a beautiful blue staffy called Rorry he is my baby, we have five kids and the 2 year old uses him as a pony they sleep together and he is always following her around...Rorry is scared of cats wont go out in the rain and wants to play with every dog he meets. A well loved staffy is a treasured companion playmate and friend..Fear is brought about by ignorance!...I love these videos and would like to congratulate you on doing such an amazing job. x

Moreover, I would like to add that legislation such as the Dangerous Dogs Act set very dangerous precedent in motion. Pitbulls should never have been outlawed in the UK. Instead, there should have been strict standards as to who could breed them and who could own them. The Pit was in fact a US national symbol during WWII so it can't be that vicious! Outlawing a dog means that only scumbags can own them. It's a vicious cycle. Unfortunately, no politician had the perspicacity to see this.
An incredibly ignorant post by waddleduckie1. Yes, bull-breeds were used for fighting. However, that should tell you one very important thing. If the dog is in a pit and is subsequently seriously injured, it needs to trust its owner completely. This trait has been carried through successive generations. The corollary is that Bull Breeds (especially Staffies) are a man's best friend. They're great around children. A few isolated incidents have occurred but that's because they've been mistreated.

Sorry, but waddleduckie is obviously one of those people that likes to talk out of their a*se. I agree that the owners should be responsible for their pets up bringing and behaviour. I have two staffies, both were rescued from shelters. I have had them for 8 years now. They are the most loyal and gentle dogs i have ever had. Not once have i had any cause for concern. As long as you are a responsible owner there should be no issues.

This video is misleading and arrogant. You don't understand the fact that pittbulls were once bred for fighting. They may not be used for fighting anymore by most, but for criminals engaging in drugs transaction and for the love of 'sports' these dogs were still used for fighting, very much like cocks were used in very poor countries, for cock fighting. These pittbulls were never meant to be kept for pets. You should know better than to defend dangerous dogs.

um these dogs in the video are staffys. i own a english staffy he is 15 weeks and very very cute. My friend also owns a staffy her dog is i year and its name is tilly and its an english staffy. My uncle owns a staffy, and he is my dogs brother. and they are the most wonderful calmest (until they meet new friends) dogs i have ever come in contact with!
People cross the road when I'm walking my staffy around, they just 'think' they are dangerous. My one is so loving and loyal, she loves kids and she is so gentle with them too. I love SBT's! I have a German shepherd and also a Chihuahua and my staffy is the most loyal out of them all!

Staffies are the most loyal and courageous breed. These dogs love humans more than life. Thats why they are terrible guard dogs! lol. Our staffy is 3 and she has enriched our lives so much. i have a staffy, she is great, its not to do with the dog, no such thing on this planet as a bad dog, but there is such thing on this planet as a bad owner, if they bring their dog up to fight etc... then thats what they'll do, if they bite its usually because someone has wound them up, kids that get bitten probably get bitten because they don't understand and they do stuff to make the dog turn. sometimes the dog may do it for no appaent reason, but usually there is a reason for EVERYTHING

Just a few days ago my staffie was attacked by a old labrador, opening up my staffies back resulting him to have his back stiched up, He didnt respond to the bite or yelp or get aggresive, i phoned the police to report it, as soon as i told them it was a staffie attacked, they wasnt intrested, check him out on my name, great vid though, they are the best dogs in the world!!

I lost my Staffy X yesterday on the vet table. They did all that they could, but it was her time to go. I held her and felt the spirit exit her body as she died in my arms. This movie is beauitful, thank you for posting.

I commented on your 1st video and this one is just as amazing ! I can't believe that they are considering banning this wonderful breed. As I said before, I have two now and have only ever owned staffies. They are described as "the nursemaid" because of their fantastic nature and how good they are with kids. Why can't people see that it's the irresponsible owners that should be punished and not the animals ? I couldn't be without my two babies, they are my world and I love them :)

Wow I had a tear in my eye watching this. Im in New Zealand and most bull terriers have a bad name here. I find it hard when parents don't teach children respect for animals. I walk my wee staff round town and parents pull their kids away and wisper thats not a friendly dog. What would they know!? I've always been in love with this breed people should be ashamed of themselves for judging what they don't know. We need to get the facts right people!

Great video! we recently brought a now 11 week english staffy x american staffy & she great! its not just staffy's that alot of people categorize as being vicious wen they aren't. i was brought up with pitbulls & rottweilers & not once was i ever bitten. i have been attacked five times and all of them being small dogs. im sick & tired of people complainin about these types of dogs. i owners that teach there dogs to fight. at the end of the day they should be the ones being put down!!!

I've had this breed most of my life. I am 54 years old. My Father had them before me & so has my Sister. I am the youngest of a family of 8 & I have brought up 3 children with Staffords. I have never been bitten by a Staffordshire, but have been bitten by other dogs, including my Brothers Retriever & his mates Collie. NO DOG SHOULD BE LEFT WITH A SMALL CHILD--THEY ARE DOGS & CHILDREN CANNOT BE PACK LEADER AT A YOUNG AGE! Any child maimed or killed by any dog is a disgrace--the owners fault

I would only ever choose to own a staffy, they are fantastic loyal and loving dogs, any dog can be nasty in the wrong hands its owners that need to take responsibiity not the dogs they have done nothing wrong, i would rather own a staffy over any smaller dog like jack russels they can be nasty lil s***s too. just because there mouths are smaller they do less damage dont mean they aint agressive, if people who own dogs can control,train and socialise there dogs whats the problem.

Here is the deal: ANY dog can get old, sick, diseased, whatever, then a good dog becomes a "bad dog", even though it is not the dog's fault. The question then is very simple: do you want to own a dog with a huge "honkin" bite apparatus, or a normal bite? Breeding a bull dog with a terrier (to get the killer instinct of a terrier with the jaws of a bulldog) does NOT make it the dog's fault---but it is crazy to DESIRE this "good" dog.

I am the prou owner of a beautiful blue staffy called Rorry he is my baby, we have five kids and the 2 year old uses him as a pony they sleep together and he is always following her around...Rorry is scared of cats wont go out in the rain and wants to play with every dog he meets. A well loved staffy is a treasured companion playmate and friend..Fear is brought about by ignorance!...I love these videos and would like to congratulate you on doing such an amazing job. x

Moreover, I would like to add that legislation such as the Dangerous Dogs Act set very dangerous precedent in motion. Pitbulls should never have been outlawed in the UK. Instead, there should have been strict standards as to who could breed them and who could own them. The Pit was in fact a US national symbol during WWII so it can't be that vicious! Outlawing a dog means that only scumbags can own them. It's a vicious cycle. Unfortunately, no politician had the perspicacity to see this.

An incredibly ignorant post by waddleduckie1. Yes, bull-breeds were used for fighting. However, that should tell you one very important thing. If the dog is in a pit and is subsequently seriously injured, it needs to trust its owner completely. This trait has been carried through successive generations. The corollary is that Bull Breeds (especially Staffies) are a man's best friend. They're great around children. A few isolated incidents have occurred but that's because they've been mistreated.

Sorry, but waddleduckie is obviously one of those people that likes to talk out of their a*se. I agree that the owners should be responsible for their pets up bringing and behaviour. I have two staffies, both were rescued from shelters. I have had them for 8 years now. They are the most loyal and gentle dogs i have ever had. Not once have i had any cause for concern. As long as you are a responsible owner there should be no issues.

This video is misleading and arrogant. You don't understand the fact that pittbulls were once bred for fighting. They may not be used for fighting anymore by most, but for criminals engaging in drugs transaction and for the love of 'sports' these dogs were still used for fighting, very much like cocks were used in very poor countries, for cock fighting. These pittbulls were never meant to be kept for pets. You should know better than to defend dangerous dogs.

what people like you fail to understand is that if they ban one breed bad owners will just move on to the next breed and eventually it will become a problem too. The real problem are BAD OWNERS!
As for these dogs being kept for pets you obviously have never had one so you don't have a clue what you're talking about.

Once,the fighting breeds were deliberately genetically selected for an ability and eagerness to fight.Such alteration can also be just as successful in the reverse direction and within only a few generations.The fighting breeds are many,many generations from thier ancestors and are now more than acceptable members of canine and human society.Aggression is much more complex then simply pointing to a certain breed.

We trained her well, i would be more worried about a yorkshire terrier, than a well trained staff or pitt. go and do some research maybe actually get to know one of these dogs, if you're not too much of a poof.

um these dogs in the video are staffys. i own a english staffy he is 15 weeks and very very cute. My friend also owns a staffy her dog is i year and its name is tilly and its an english staffy. My uncle owns a staffy, and he is my dogs brother. and they are the most wonderful calmest (until they meet new friends) dogs i have ever come in contact with!

People cross the road when I'm walking my staffy around, they just 'think' they are dangerous. My one is so loving and loyal, she loves kids and she is so gentle with them too. I love SBT's! I have a German shepherd and also a Chihuahua and my staffy is the most loyal out of them all!

good vid well made, i got 2 staffs aged 9 and 2, both were brought up with my 3 kids now still young themselves.
kids love them they love the kids, as far as i am concerned i have 5 kids.
