I was just a little thing then - and I was so happy I knew the little boy in the third act!
I still believe this is the best production of Coppelia around. The Royal Ballet's production has hideous costumes, and a lot of the others are just boring.
I have this Australian production on DVD and can thoroughly recommend it. The second act is especially good with some great doll pieces. Thanks for this posting.
Which part of the ballet is this could anyone tell me?!

I just remembered that one of the men fell in this when it was filmed. They didn't reshoot it - just edited it so you can't see it.

It's funny to see so many future stars in this! Also, a very young Lisa Bolte dances Prayer.
And what a pity there doesn't seem to be a video of Hours on here. In real life those would have to be about the most beautiful costumes around.
