john otto and sam rivers are both jazz fusion trained musicians..which means they are VERY well trained and talented..just because john doesnt do crazy double bass doesnt make his a bad drummer at all..and jusy because sam doesn slap and show off on his bass doesnt mean he sucks..there extremely solid musicians and so is wes..hes one of the most creative guitar players around
