@MrDarinWarren Every type of music has it's place, and if you were to ask me when music was best, I would tell you the late 70s through the early 90s - and I would include hip hop in that. I won't argue that modern hip hop isn't 99% BS (as is everything), but one must always keep an open mind. Discounting a genre based on limited experience is the exact same neurological function as racism, just less overt. ;)

Musicianship still exists, you just have to find it, and this applies to every genre.

@justkitteh Point taken. When "rap" 1st hit the scene, we all believed it was the next "disco" and would be short lived. I don't really like rap/hip hop. Not the music itself as much as the lyrics. It has had an interesting influence on rock though. Some of which is really good. @MrDarinWarren Seriously though, the beat for this song may not have been played, but the beat make spent years going through crates of vinyl looking for something worth sampling, and then put the rhythm together. Love it or hate it, don't belittle what they did. Look up Linus Stubbs, his stuff is fantastic, horns and emotion to a danceable beat.
