The two I've seen in this list are Revolutionary Road and Victoria in Barcelona.  Loved, loved, loved ViB! Javier Bardem was wonderful! And RR was darkly moving. I thought Ruffalo took the whole film. He was great. After this, I want to see The Reader soon.

Bevscorner, thank you for subscribing, but I don't know that Mark Ruffalo was in Revolutionary Road. He WAS in a film last year that was called Reservation Road, however, where he played a comtemporary suburban lawyer who kills a child in a hit-and-run accident. Revolutionary Road, however, stars Kate & Leo, re-united on screen as a troubled suburban couple, whose marriage is unravelling.

Thank you for correcting me. Yes, I remember now. I'm looking forward to seeing Revolutionary Road. Leo has evolved into so fine an actor, and I almost boycotted the Academy Awards when he did not win best actor for The Aviator. Thanks again. I'm glad I subscribed. :)

No, thank YOU, bevscorner. I was wondering when someone was going to mix those two very similar titles up! Reservation Road and Revolutionary Road. Meanwhile, I'm bummed that more of the critics didn't dig "Rev Road" as much I and Francis Chervenak did. See above^. And the box-office is not great either...I'm shocked. The question is will Kate get nominated for this or for "The Reader"? Or Both? Her talent is overwhelming when you see those two films one right on top of each other! WOW!

You can see Francis doing a memorable, heartfelt tribute to Heath Ledger elsewhere on this channel. It was the first time he'd ever appeared on camera, and it was so moving and engaging and watchable, well, a star was born. That tribute has gotten over 4,000 hits and catapulted him into being my current co-host. Kudos to him for all his great work on my show and this channel!

Francis has been my co-host for the past year and is currently a student at NYU Film School where he writes for their much read paper the Washington Square News. This summer he was an intern at the New York Times.
