Has anybody noticed that feminists are still saying inequality is in the work force because women earn less money and something should be done about it? Something has already been done. Women have the same rights as men. But it didn't suddenly become equal, with half the CEOs being women the day after they got equal work rights. It takes time, and women are gaining power. Look at college students. Well over half are women, especially in the higher-level courses.

Speaking of secretary jobs - what about THAT reverse discrimination? Any man who applies to be a secretary, has to compete with 200 women. That is UNFAIR. Feminism is about promoting an egalitarian, democratic society, not one where some people have inherent authority over others. This has nothing to do with hating men, but conversely patriarchy has everything to do with promoting a society where men have inherent authority over women.
Patriarchy is the dominance and inhernet authority of men over women. Radical feminists want to discontinue this heirarchy, and replace it with an egalitarian system. The idea that women as nuturers have a greater right to their children stems from the system of patriarchy. In fact, all the inequties pointed out by the "men's movement" stem from patriarchy and were here long before feminists existed.
When you discredit feminists, you discredit your own "men's movement."
Patriarchy is any power men have that in any way limits women's power. Wherever there exists an overlap, women must prevail to make up for thousands of years of oppression...

Has anybody noticed that feminists are still saying inequality is in the work force because women earn less money and something should be done about it? Something has already been done. Women have the same rights as men. But it didn't suddenly become equal, with half the CEOs being women the day after they got equal work rights. It takes time, and women are gaining power. Look at college students. Well over half are women, especially in the higher-level courses.

Advancing the right of everyone isn't feminism. It's a particular brand of classical liberalism. Feminism is about the rights of women. If it isn't about the rights of women, it's not feminism. If it's about the right of everyone, it's not feminism. Feminism *can* be about equality in a world where women are actually discriminated against. But if that's not the case, then feminism - logically - is about advancing the rights of women over and beyond those of men.

Only men are sexists because we live in a disgusting, male centered patriarchy. Misogyny stems from men and men despise women. Every other woman has been raped or sexually assaulted in her lifetime. Logic never enters the argument, since feminism is not a logical ideology. Using logic, it's easy to show their hypocrisy.
Which of course is why some feminists are denouncing "Traditional Science" as Patriarchal, and therefore biased against women, thus discounting whichever finding they deem uncomfortable.

Anyone of any gender, race, religion,sexual orientation, nationality, etc. can still be sexist, racist, homophobic, heterophobic, biphobic, xenophobic, etc.
Feminism is far from being unnecessary. There are still groups in the US that would strip a woman of her rights. There are still places in this wold where women are property.
A group will only be able to establish and maintain their rights so long as they are willing to stand for them. The same goes for masculism.

I only oppose blaming feminism (as if that was one unified movement) for all of your problems. It would be equally wrong and insensitive for feminists to blame masculists for discrimination against women, right?

Maybe it would help to look at things from someone else's perspective. I used to think masculism was just another name for anti-feminist, anti-woman, until I bothered to investigate on my own. I dare say I'm not the only one who could benefit from doing so.

As a woman, I'd have to say that feminism has gone a long way in securing my rights. I vote, I work, I serve in the military - thing s unheard of generations before me. I'm not so much interested in gaining rights as I am in protecting what is earned

Speaking of secretary jobs - what about THAT reverse discrimination? Any man who applies to be a secretary, has to compete with 200 women. That is UNFAIR. Meanwhile, the men have to take all the difficult jobs, like CEO. Obviously, the leadership jobs in companies are less desirable. If they were more desirable, we'd see more women in the roles, wouldn't we? The only thing keeping women from being the CEO of big companies is the fact that the jobs are undesirable.

The problem with women being in charge is that when they're assertive or brutally honest, the way male leaders are, the woman comes across as a bitch or a lesbian or "shrill." . This is why I personally believe women belong at home with the kids. We don't need a bunch of uppity lezzies in charge of our companies. I'm obviously not the only one who believes this, as 99% of all fortune 500 companies have male CEO's. There are plenty of secretary jobs to go around, ladies.

Patriarchy is the dominance and inhernet authority of men over women. Radical feminists want to discontinue this heirarchy, and replace it with an egalitarian system. The idea that women as nuturers have a greater right to their children stems from the system of patriarchy. In fact, all the inequties pointed out by the "men's movement" stem from patriarchy and were here long before feminists existed.
