  • This guy looks very unhappy

  • @rastaR00STER ;-) Sorry. I have slight difficulty to play this fretless instrument. It may make me look unhappy. But I am enjoying the play in fact. I love playing guitar.

  • I loved it, Is it a fretless Tele that fender put out or is it custom made?

  • @sjmusic19 This guitar is built for myself. The neck is custom made, I heard (I got it at a net auction.). The body and other parts are available at "St.& Mac. Guitar Shop Supply" or similar shops.

    Thank you for your comment.

  • Elegant-- thank you! :)

  • @sensorysyrynx My pleasure! Thank you for watching.

  • This is So beautiful, The Tone Is Just So More Clear.

  • @MrMoeJayy Thank you so much for your comment!

  • what's the point with having no frets?

  • @NbAeR87 So many points, First point is its sensitiveness to the touch. When I change the touch of my left (and right, of course) finger to the strings, it gives me quite different tone and pitch.

The second one is its tone. It gives me quite mellow and warm tone with clear attack.

The third one is flexsibleness of the pitch. I can get passages like slide guitar as you can find in this video.

  • @gvillage2001

And the most significant point is... its dificulty of playing. Irt is very hard to keep the correct and accurate pitch. It is sometimes immpossible to play with the usual forrm of my left fingers. I need to invent new chord forms or scale form. It makes me more creative. Thank you for your question.

  • @NbAeR87 The most important reason is that this type of guitar provides you with different tonal possibilities, another type of sound that a musician can use to create. I first played a fretless guitar because I am a violinist and it felt like a more natural transition. With practice you can also play more intune that a fretted guitar because you can make up for the compromise of the fret spacings.

  • @DionMorales10 Thank you for your encouraging comment. Sorry for my late reply. I could not find your reply for months.
